They need to come out with something that compares to livescope

Can you do a video explaining the bracket you are using to mount the head unit and battery? I'm guessing you have to take these on and off a lot and that looks portable and very well built.

Man, I appreciate you showing the facts. Using a foam piece to “fix” the sun rays and double image should deter everyone from this unit. Garmin LV32 on factory settings looks better and has better separation. Hopefully Live will be able to compete in their next model. Side imaging and down are still too notch though. 🎣

Is there any noticeable improvement using Mega live with a Solix/Apex vs. Helix?

I did the update and I can see my football jig out to 65’ but only with 60degree setting and I used the lg masking tape. Wish I had a Garmin so far after being on my buddy’s boat. Maybe they will come out with a better update soon

Talked to a HB rep at a show last weekend and he believes they are done with updates. It's frankly pretty disappointing how bad it is compared to Garmin for all the money. Truly regret my purchase

Its funny how the screenshots from the adds are so much better

I have no experience with mega live, just vids I've seen online. My lvs34 looks significantly better without dialing it in. Use what you got #1! From the previous Christmas sales, coupon codes, I got my echomap Ultra 106sv, steady cast & lvs34 system , including my 14.8v 32 ah lithium battery for $2679.00+ tax! That's less than just a 10" unit from either other brand by itself. It paid off to be patient & wait for deals.

The biggest issue with ML is that they are using the mega frequency instead of the 455 frequency. It really harms the quality of the image and smoothness.

everyone has had issues with whatever brand of ffs they have no matter who makes it. without a doubt Garmin is leading the forward facing sonar race. Lowrance a close second but Humminbird cant afford to be left out of this race. they will fix it . they know without a doubt where they stand and whats being said. They can't afford not to get back in the game and compete! And they know this. I recently bought a boat with all Humminbird electronics ultrex , Talons, mega live everything Johnson. and i am trying to get it all working together. but i have found that a lot of my problems with mega live now is incorrect installation thats one thing that Garmin has preached and made it clear that you have to have clean power to their transducer not so much with Humminbird it applies to all electronics not just transducers but head units as well sure Humminbird has work to do but they willl get it done!

Mega Live is a crap. Sold it, bought LVS34 and pretty happy. Side imaging from Humm is the best.

I did the same thing. I waited and waited it it was bad. You can only see to 10 meters forward and after that image is poor. Garmin👍🏻

Honestly I can't see how you can sit here and say Humminbird is "crap"..Garmins first generation panoptics was junk,then lvs32 and tgey had major ghost tree & other issues until the lvs34 and still needed updates to fix some issues...I'd say Humminbird isn't doing to bad for a Gen1... Humminbird 369 & mega SI blows Garmin away by a long shit..Garmin is still behind in that department..All companies have there pros & cons but to say Humminbird is CRAP is just outright wrong....There's a reason the pros are running all 3 companies...

And I can tell you from 1st hand experience Humminbirds customer service blows Garmins out the door & that means alot...

Hummingbird products are junk. Garmin is hands down the best

Humminbird should have their butts kicked for putting this junk out.
