Id love to throw mine more if we didn't have to worry about toothy fish.

Thank God we don't have those on the Lower Coosa River! But a 6lb Spotted Bass will sure take one from you! That's why I use spinning gear; so I have to FINESSE 'EM in.
I feel for y’all up there in Minnesota not being able to fish 365 days of the year.

NOOOO! Spinning gear all the way! I throw them all on a Megabass Destroyer Windbuster 7'2" Spinning rod and a Shimano Vanford 2000. 10lb chartreuse Seaguar Smackdown braid to an 8lb Seaguar Tatsu leader. I just picked up the rare colors 'Smallmouth Bass' and 'Deadly Fish' 110s today on Ebay. $130 for the two but, WOW, the realstic finishes!
