    Err you forgot the best driver of them all - Ole Olsen of Danmark. Ivan Mauger and Ole Olsen were one class above all others - Peter Collins and the other you mention were OK fine drivers - but not in Olsen's and Mauger's league. By the way - the English speedway league was for years a battle between Danish riders Ole Olsen, Tommy Knudsen and Erik Gundersen - the club with the best Danes would win. It was pure Danish business for a period.

    Ole Olsen didn't ride for Belle Vue so your comment is pointless.

    @@stjohnrylance7844 Well, OK you're right. It just caught me that the vid is about English speedway - and English speedway was totally dominated by Danish riders, starting with Ole Olsen from 1971 until 1983, and then of course Smiling Gunder and Tommy Knudsen and Jan O Pedersen and more - they were the best there was. But you're right - ignore me.
