Mega Milestone & Epic Best Day: Solar Pergola Update!

Ғылым және технология

Welcome to our channel! In this video, we bring you an exciting update on our solar pergola. Join us as we share the latest savings and milestones achieved in June!
Our solar system has hit a major milestone, generating an impressive 1 MWh of power as of May 20th, 2023. But that's not all! On May 21st, we experienced the best performing day yet, producing a remarkable 19.9 KWh in just 24 hours! (keeping in mine this is a 2.9KWp system)
In addition to the power generated, we've saved a substantial amount of money, totaling £456.38 or $570.47. This doesn't even include the power we take from the grid at night for daytime use. We're committed to maximizing our savings and reducing our carbon footprint.
Join us as we showcase our solar panels, share insights about our hybrid inverter, and discuss the benefits of self-consumption over exporting to the grid. Discover how solar power can make a positive impact on the environment and your wallet.

Hi, great setup. I’m about to embark on something very similar. Can you send me a link to the clips you used to attach the panels to the pergola timbers? Many thanks.

How much of that 1 MWh did you export to the grid and did you get paid for it?

190kWh of which the first 100kWh was with the temporary gridtie inverter before I had the batteries, now I have a limit to export 100w max, the rest gets diverted to the car and hot water tank. Don't get paid for the export, this is by design. total yield as of today is 1.66MWh export is 193kWh in total a month later than the video.

You'd have to burn 500kg of coal to generate that.
