Aw, I was disappointed to see that you only had two videos after being recommended the MegaMan 1 score video. Looking forward to more :)

I love how bn3-bn5 kept overcomplicating things more and more, and then bn6 just went back to the bn2 method. Then they held themselves back in SF1 and kept it like that, but SF2 went back to overcomplicating things, and then SF3 went it's damn hardest to make it all as complicated as possible.

I haven’t gotten to play the Star Force games yet, so just curious, how does 2 and 3 complicate the process?

@@loveandpeace3345 2 has a similiar system to 5 where you fight the v2 by talking to a ghost data, and then v3 has to be fought in random encounters, but the acutal stronger version is fought in post-game storyline where you must find them on the overworld, then fight them, and afterwards a new ghost data will appear in the alternate timeline (yes that's right) that you can fight the v4 again.

@@loveandpeace3345 3 has you fight the v2 on a rnadom corner in a specific area, then the v3 will show up as a random encounter in some specific areas (they have multiple areas they show up to this time), then there's once again a post-game only v4 that you can fight in the post-game story, and afterwards become ghost data you can talk to and rematch anytime (and this time those're the versions that affect the chip damage) then there's the strongest omega versions which appear when you get a 'Warning' in the touchscreen while wandering the internet (which is random, and there's a chance you'll just fight a stronger virus instead) And apparenlty the boss you'll find is unpredictable, and there's a pool of different possiblities for each area.

@@loveandpeace3345 also both of them feature golden bosses that i had no idea even existed until a while ago, and also don't know how to get to, and one specific boss (Rogue, who's like the bass of star force) has an stronger-rer-rest special version meant as a final challenge after completing literally everything else in the game.

I love how confident you are at your first video, how confident you are that the niche subject you chose would paid off, and how it did, congrats mate, can't wait to see more

Having watched all your videos so far I think your scriptwriting is fine, it's engaging and got multiple chuckles from me (engaging shouldn't be understated, I have ADHD and easily struggle to pay attention for a full video if it's presented poorly). Incidentally I had no idea this was even a mechanic and I loved playing these growing up!

One thing that should be noted: In most cases, you have to go to sleep before the V2 ghost spawns on the Net. I don't think *all* of the BN3 ghost Navis have NPCs that talk about their locations. PlantMan seemingly doesn't, for example, but the majority do. Roll SP and Django SP also have weird damage calculations in BN5. I think Roll goes up the more Holy Panels you have, while Django does more damage if Lan is jacked in outside.

I can't for the life of me find fireman V3. I beat them in story mode, I beat him in his little hiding spot, and now he's nowhere to be found. I legit farmed 50,000 Zenni from random battles looking for him.

I've only ever played the first Battle Network game and got a harsh slap of memory from that random NPC dialog about the Navi ghosts and how it stuck with me for the longest time that I never ran into one. Because I never went around to the "innocuous dead ends", because I could see that they were dead ends with no item so...why bother? Nice to know now at least. Thanks for the video.

Few notes about BN5: The navi data standing around is always just before the entrance to a Liberation Mission Winning / Losing against the navi refills your HP to max In the postgame area, your teammates can use the DS chips, unless like a Good Karma MegaMan This is VERY helpful if you have every variant of Django and ProtoMan, plus it gives the teammates a much needed edge since Mega can abuse Chaos Unison VERY important: SuperArmor program prevents flinching, which means you won't lose out on an S Rank if you equip it
