This one, Abandoned Memories, and MM2 Wily 1 are definitely my favorites.

All these comments and so little talk about Mega Man 7 Wily 1. Bass nearly kills Dr Light and Megaman is out for revenge. It’s so perfect.

Cossack 1 and 2 are two of my favorite musical compositions ever.

Maga Man 2 and 7, Wily Stage 1, and Proto Man Fortress are just unbeatable, just pure perfection

I find MM8 Wily Stage 1 and No Turning Back from MM10 to be incredibly underrated.

Entire Mega man 3 soundtrack gives me a death load of nostalgia to the point where I confuse the words nostalgia and soundtrack for some reason….

He'll never tire of making these skull-shaped death traps, and we'll never tire of fighting through them.

@@VergaLinda I do!!! Up to this point, I tolerated Capcom's SNES soundtracks but really didnt like most of them....except the X series. Then MM7 arrived with its easygoing, bouncier sound with excellent melodies. MM7 Wily 1 really gave you the melancholic feel of 2 & 5 (Wily 2). The MM7 OST really surprised me and changed my mind about how I initially felt about Capcom's SNES sound font! Wasn't it also the first in the series with a secret stage theme via input code for Shademan's stage?

Decided to use the time stamps to take a listen to each of these songs and boy do they bring back some memories, I wish I could've experienced listening to 11's gear fortress one for the first time again, such good memories of high school marching band my freshman year, I'll never forget it!

Every MM7 Wily stage theme is at the very least an absolute banger - imo 7 has the best wily stage themes (8, 9 and 4 are close)

nah it aint, wily stage 1 from mega man 1 gives off the mood of literally trying to stop a mad scientist from destroying the world. Mega Man 10 has my word for it, it is good, but i like adventurous music. which is why i like mega man 1 better

My Favorites: MM1-1 (underrated as hell IMO), MM2-1, MM3-2, Cossack 2, MM7-1, We're The Robots, Silent Rain/Abandoned Memory (together; both feel incomplete without the other), No Turning Back, and Gear Fortress

Mega Man 5's Wily Stage Music is so underrated that I like it more than Proto Man's Castle Music.

MM3 Wily Stage 1 is underrated. I mean look at thr music production value on that.

They're all amazing, but Flash In the Dark and Against the Pressure in particular are on a whole different plane

Even though people say mega man 5 sucks I think mm 5 has if not the top 5 best ost

Mega man 10 wily stage 4 reminds me a little of wily stage 2 of mega man 2

MM 3 Willy Stage 2 have a dark and a heroic vibe at same time

They always save the best music for the Wily stages.

The music from MM1 - Wily Stage 2 is the only theme which trues represent something evil are about to happen, i love it and it is even better and evil on Megaman Powered Up.

For me, Wily stage music in almost every game (that I’ve listened to) is fantastic. But I’d say Mega Man 3 had my favorite Wily music

I'll share my favorites to see, i hope this can speak to you too: Mega man- 3: wily stage 2- i am in LOVE with how mega man can sing almost ANYTHING to do with feelings. This stage makes me feel so much suspense and rather urgency when you hear this going thru a stage. Has the theme: GETTING CLOSER. in MM's eyes, closer to the traitor that is Wily. In Wily's eyes, his Nemesis is Approaching FASTER. And i dont know for sure, but this song plays also in wily stage 3 where the robot master capsules appear. I swear that the song played normally until i got to the room of capsules. It got Louder! The theme then changed to "PROCEED" as I view all the boss capsules. 4: Cossack stage 1- DREAD. i feel Dread. Like that feeling of what you don't want to happen is coming ANYWAY. and you know it. I love it. I feel it actually depicts mega man's dread of the unknown, unknown scientist, Cossack, and unknown threats as in the Cossack stage bosses, and fearing what if he loses... Cossack stage 2- a BEAUTIFUL tune of a feeling if you were high on a balcony or platform soaring thru a huge landscape. Its perfect for Mega man walking over the fortress, with hopefully anticipation after beating the first cossack boss. 5: Proto castle- SPACE -ly vibe...it should have been a space station base! Wily stage 1- like a duet of both good side guy and bad side guy singing about their dramatic impending confrontation. 6- Mr. X Stage- why? I dont know why it was made for THIS stage, but it feels SO good this song. I feel it has the vibe of The world cheering for the hero to keep going and stop the bad guy. Feels so Good. Its saying "You CAN do it. We are right behind you." 7 is my ABSOLUTE favorite: wily Stage 1- Betrayal on the brain since Bass trashes Light Labs and stole the super adapter plans. Also Anxiety perhaps, but a big buildup for infiltrating the Wily fortress. I love it. It even feels of fear for faliure to do so. Wily stage 2 gives me high school nostalgia as i listened Looping this one during classes and after school. 9: Wily stage 1- "AAATTTACCCKKK!!!!!!" vibes all around. Wily Stage 2- rather BORINGLY simple stage for a GREAT song! Sounds like your friends JOIN your battle! 10- Wily stage 3- "No turning back." Enough was said. Go. End it. For good. ( until ELEVEN...😒😒)

Nothing has ever gotten close to the like of Dr. Wily’s stage 1 theme from Mega Man II and Mr. X’s theme in Mega Man VI.

Sorry for the spoiler my friend, but it is the truth!!!

I've always loved the Dr. Wily stage music on the NES. They had some of the best tracks. About the only one I could never stand from the first time I heard it was the Mr. X Fortress on Mega Man 6. The first time I heard it when I bought it new, I was so turned off by it. It's so tinny and ear scratching. Even worse, it spans for 4 stages... I still can't stand it. All of the others (except maybe the 1st Wily stage of Mega Man 5) were always rather heavy and set in minor key, which gave them a really cool, ominous presence.

Honestly I don't mind the higher pitch for this song, but I can understand if someone get bothered by it.
