I have found some really nice fabric at Walmart. I remember when their fabric department was almost the size of their electronics department and they used to get bolts of fabric for a dollar a yard. Those were back in the day when they were also open twenty four seven.

I love the Paris fabric for curtains and decorating my sewing room. Also love the leopard print for lining hand bags and iPad / iPhone/pencil/ makeup cases and pouches.

Yes!! Our Walmart is doing this also. Let's just say I went a little bit crazy with my purchase. Going back to get more for quilting.

I have several Walmarts in my area that all have downsized their sewing and crafts departments. My favorite store was the last to remodel, so I got some fabric sales. I miss the lower priced patterns they used to carry also.

Wal Mart is definitely good for patterns for at least half the price. I've purchased one as low as $0.97. It's sad this is happening.

My local Walmart has a TINY TINY fabric wall. All quilting cottons, some sequence fabric and no garment fabrics. I don't know why so many retailers like Hobby Lobby, Joann's and Walmarts etc are slowly getting rid of all things sewing. CRAZY! I've been going to other Walmarts and see that trend. Some have more than others. You can return that Paris fabric and then buy it for the sale price. Beautiful cuts!
