The Caribbean and African American Coalition working in Seaweed Development in Tanzania Needs Your Help! Imagine if the East Africa Seaweed Company Succeeds ? Imagine if we are able to use SeaMoss as a trade tool to develop impoverished communities Tanzania? Imagine if we are able to break the generational curse of Western Exploitation for Seaweed in Tanzania? Our Company has the right to buy land in Tanzania through the Tanzanian Investment Center. Our investors and employees have the right to live and work in Tanzania also but what if this educated labor pool became a community? What if we were as strong as the Turkish, The Indians and other groups in Tanzania? Wouldnt our position also give us opportunities for success, as it does these other groups? Imagine if the small crumbly foundations that we are building becomes a strong structure to support trade, community development and migration, building a bridge of trade through SeaMoss...at 18 months we have done a tremendous amount of work but we are also at risk of losing it all, without external support we may not be able to move forward. We need to hire more people, gather ingredients for product development however Shipping our container helps us to gain a foothold in the market and leverage our resources. We are seeking investors, partners and donors ASAP. Please read our story, donate and share! Thank You Please use the link below to donate ASAP! gofund.me/3f9dfe1d

Hello Friends My name is Renae and I I have worked tirelessly over the last 3 years to establish a presence of the African Diaspora in Tanzania so that it is easier for people to return to Africa and conduct business however my success has been severely hampered by Tanzanias unfriendly immigration policies towards immigrants. I set up a beautiful place of return called the Xodus House, but due to these same policies many diasporans found it difficult to stay! I believed thing to do would be to start a company that would allow immigrants an opportunity to legally migrate to Tanzania as investors where they can buy land and have the right to live and work in Tanzania. Though this holds true and I have had AMAZING success in this area it came at a HUGE cost to my health. Over the past 18 months I was hospitalized several times for stress related illnesses as I set up our company comprising of the African Diaspora with the Aim of using SeaMoss trade to uplift impoverished coastal.communities. Though our company is growing and hitting its goals and milestones we are hampered with many obstacles. Tanzania is a wonderful place but exrtaordinarily difficult place to do business as it is not only slow in processing paperwork, has poor labor pool with marketable skill set and equally poor customer service and low comprehension of written English. Tanzania is also notoriously known for discriminating against foreigners and this carries through in BUSINESS as many Government entities holds one grossly excessive fee bracket for foreigners and another extremely low fee for Tanzanians, despite that company holding residency in Tanzania and Tanzanian Investment Center Certification. Other poor business practices include expiry on paperwork..documents do not hold a life cycle expiring in 12 or 24 months from when it was issued but on the 31st of December, regardless of when it was issued. This causes a company to be burdened twice in one year with a cumbersome paperwork and time consuming process taking away from the operating their business. Also, SeaMoss is an infant industry in Tanzania, though it produces 97% of all Seaweed in Africa, all of it exported, so no one, including financial institutions have any knowledge of it, the impoverished communities who depend on it or how it can be used as a Social Development Tool. I have opened a SeaMoss Cafe to build awareness but things move at a slow pace here. It is not surprising then that, I have found the door slammed shut in my face several times when seeking grants, loans and access to local financing for my company from local and international institutions. I have done as much as I can do on my own, my health has suffered tremendously and I now NEED to hire an experienced managing director in manufacturing and trade from overseas who has the necessary skill set to support the East Africa Seaweed Company Limited in trading our SeaMoss. I am also seeking to raise enough capital to ship our container of SeaMoss by October 01,2023 which means I must use the Month of September to prepare the shipment and the month of August to raise the funds for the shipment and placement of a Manager. I am seeking support from our entire diaspora community. I know we can do this together! Please make a donation and share amongst your groups and friends. Thank You! gofund.me/3f9dfe1d
