    In my opinion, I would consider that self taught since you did not have any formal training or attend art school. To be an artist without proper teachings, we need to seek the teachings ourselves elsewhere and be disciplined enough to practice and critique ourselves :) We all learn from somewhere! It’s just a matter of how we go about it 😊
