You can show your parents respect but never would I let my parents tell me who I can and can't love. In fact my parents didn't have a choice who I married. Once I started providing for myself the parents had know say on what I do. They can give advice but its my choice in the end.

This story is so fucked up that i hate it, i would never forgive that family. She is right, she should live her life with HER baby and her HUSBAND, and that guy should stay out of her way. And his parents should learn to keep their mouths shut, it's not their right to tell private things of her to him. Just live your life and live her and her baby alone.

Adults being more obedient to parents then toddlers are. Everything is controlled by parents of both sides. They meddle in all aspects of their adult children’s life. Do such people exist in real life? I cannot even be angry at parents. If their adult children were able to survive without them, then they wouldn’t let parents control them, would they.

Thats their culture been that way since ancient times they are obedient to their family and when they got married they are obedient to the family they married into especially the woman they had little to no rights I do hope that has relaxed somewhat in our modern life
