Yudachi was a real ship...she was sunk during the First Battle of Guadalcanal in the wee hours of November 12, 1942...ironically enough, she mistook a US destroyer in the darkness for a Japanese destroyer, didn't shoot, and flashed her fighting lights at it...whereupon she got hit in her engine room and wrecked...which it seems can happen in the game if you meet a US destroyer at close range... The cruiser USS Portland finished her off the next morning with the advent of daylight.

One spot of advice for ya in destroyers Spartan, if I may... when you're ambushing hold on to a salvo of torps... one, it gives you an upper cut punch if you get into a sticky situation... two, if you take out your target with your first salvo you don't have to disengage right away and wait for torps to reload... I'm all about staying on station and at the pointy end of the spear when I'm in my destroyer, if I launch all my torps in an ambush I'm a toothless tiger and that's not preferable. Great video... can't wait to get my own Yudachi

It has a reload booster i use it like you use your 2second spread

I’ve got a buddy of mine who’s fast tracked this ship, and as a DD main, it terrifies me seeing the stuff he’s done with it, especially because I’m a BB main, definitely gonna be worried about this unit soon lol. Good games Spartan

DDs are Bird Dogs: Good spotting and area denial (with Torps)....if your Team shoots the DDs and Cruisers you Spot, ignoring the Red back marker BBs till later, you will win imho!!!!

Yuudachi on this game is a stark contrast against the main one in WoWs. Might get her here myself since she played good.

My god the speed on those torps

I've yet to play a T7 DD, but I would think that with all of the radars in the game at this level that being sneaky could be a wee bit difficult.

It seems like everyone has Indianapolis except me and I use to live there for like 3 years

with torpedos i fire a wide then quicky follow with narrow, it almost always garuntees a hit for me.

After this video I think that I'll buy the campaign

Haha welcome to the channel! Hello from Ohio! Thats the one thing I enjoy most about KZread is meeting people from all around the world

One thing I find funny is when I am in a match and on the other team there is a division of usually two players both playing the same new ship such as yesterday i spawned across from two Vladivostoks in a division. I don’t know why but I find it funny as it is like two children who just got a new toy and therefore it gives me so much more satisfaction destroying these types of players than others as I love making them rethink some life decisions lol. They must realize that new toy or not it won’t make a difference because I still intend on sending them back to port even more so than usual because it gives me a chance to test their ships against my OG warships like New Mexico and Iowa so I can see if the new tech tree ships are worth the grind for me.

They really need to change the fire duration. It shouldn't have heavy dmg duration if it's light dmg.

I'd be torn between the torp upgrade. 7km vs 10km (Based on a normal build). But that being said, 80 knot torps are a scary thought.

I don’t understand how your concealment is at 99 my Tanaka is 10 legendary 2 with Bey and fragile threat and has 100 concealment at 5.0 km

I believe it has something to do with devs knowing the equipment everyone has on consoles but on PC everyone has different equipment so they can't optimize for every combo

@@SpartanElite43 That's true, but still, with torpedoes that are that fast it's gonna be hell to go up against her. I can usually charge DD's and they panic as i do some torpedo beats, but with this one i ain't doing that for a single penny.
