The fit and finish is one of the nicer glass tanks I’ve seen. A nice touch having the electrical outlets on the the inside of the cabinet to provide easy access. Looking forward to seeing this build come together. 👌

Beautiful tank, I love the electrical compartment. But on thing they also should change are those filtersock, they should be removable like in the red sea g2 tanks

After seeing this and upgrading soon I think the 270.6 will be a perfect tank!

I have a waterbox frag tank. I cut out the filter sock section for a filter roller and I have also drilled through the back wall so I can run the ATO from the garage. My ATO section is where my Kalkwasser reactor is which is fed by RO water from the garage. The plan is to do water changes from the garage as well. This was my first sump tank, normally I have had AIO tanks. My only gripe would be the instructions. My eventual plan is to top up my ATO reservoir from my RODI unit also in the garage. The only thing stopping me is finding out if the stopping and starting of the RODI unit would mean I would put higher TDS water into my ATO, not a question I have managed to get an answer to yet. Your tank looks spectacular and my Trachyphyllia seems to be enjoying life, they like a good feed.

My tank measures 7x2x2 feet, a good size and height, the furniture is 3.5 feet, since it is very important to see what you say in the video. Regards 👌

I could have bought any tank I wanted and I decided on a Red Sea Reefer G2. It's probably my last Red Sea. Their adjustable drain valve near the sump has caused me many sleepless nights trying to adjust it. Doesn't help that all Red Sea plumbing is in metric and I can't get that in the USA. As for the tank itself, nice glass, not bad on the silicone and pretty pleased with the overall tank. Red Sea customer service is about like Neptune's, it's terrible. I bought the extended warranty for $189.99 USD. A month later, they changed that price and the same warranty is now $49.99. Then they discontinued the brand new G2 series that I bought and replaced it with a G2 plus that comes with a nice electrical ATO system. Yeah, I didn't get that. So in the next 6 months, I'll buy a new Waterbox, Cade or something else.

Wish it was eurobraced. I hate the mess rimless creates. Finally someone builds a stand the right height.

It's a really nice tank I really wanted to go with them for the low height. My gripe with them is it's only a single return pump on large tanks it's a no brainer to have 2 and not with a Y also the sump does not look easy at all to convert to a filter roller. (I maybe wrong) When I found out they etch the company name into the front panel glass that was a dead stop... I will never purchase from a company that does crap like that, put it on a back side panel or something also how many extra words need to be added to the glass to make it sound new and "Special" when it's just normal Starfire glass... I wish company's would start calling a tank for what it is if it's 270 gallons call it that don't include the sump I for one don't fill my sump to the brim to make that count. It's a shame really.

Jeez just put water in it already
