I think it's more of a very poor choice of words He could have said It's extremely frustrating if you want to play it at the highest levels because it requires a lot of patience for small progress or rewards Thus I wouldn't recommend to play mini golf at this level to anyone because it's not for everyone

Think I was at their Tourney location during summer break in college. Just remember it randomly being next to the road, still a fun time though.

Richard Pinkham I don’t believe long putters are actually banned. The anchoring of a club or body part is banned but he does not appear to be doing that. The top isn’t pressed against his chest, it is held in his hand.

The long putter is not ilegal. Adam Scott who is one of the top golfers in the world still uses it and so does Bernhard Langer and other pro golfers. It’s illegal to anchor your putter against your body.

At about the 3rd hole, he reaches into his pocket and pulls out notes on the hole and the camera pans to the other guys and they mumble to each other and ask if they have any notes on the hole. At the last hole of the tournament, he’s getting ready to putt and one of the other guys says, “Nice putter. Was there a sale at Bullwinkle’s?” He looks up at his coach and takes a deep breath before looking back down at the ball to putt. As he putts, the scene goes to slow motion as dramatic music plays in the background.
