He was accosted by armed MAGA goons and accused of stuffing the box with fraudulent votes.... He was held hostage until local law enforcement arrived and verified what he was doing..... Thousands of people had that job function during the 2020 election..... That totally harmless task can look shady if the footage is used without context....

Just because President Trump didn't name names doesn't mean he didn't have reasons for his beliefs. I've had to wait a day to cool off making a comment about Kristen Welker's MTP debut. If this show is any indication of her future shows, she might as well pack it in. She showed her complete & utter lack of journalistic ability & integrity & just let trump roll all over her. She did a complete disservice to us viewers - no challenges, no corrections, NOTHING but sitting there & listen to trump spout lies, innuendos, half truths, etc, etc. I don't know why she was so afraid of trump. This was NOT supposed to be a campaign stop for trump but that's what Welker let it become. My great expectation for her as a host turned into a complete bomb & if this is indicative of future shows, I won't be wasting my time.

I was hoping for a reactive interview of Trump instead of a list of questions with bad follow up. I need an informed moderator like Tim Russert, this was similar to a Chuck Todd interview. I know Trump walked off of the Leslie Stahl interview, the same thing should have happened. When she asked about the deficit and Trump agreed with the looming government shutdown I thought she would ask about Trumps uncontrolled spending and contribution to the deficit. I hope Kristen looks at Tim Russerts interviews of the past.

Walking off would have made Trump look like a loser. Trump had too much control of the interview to do that this time. He needed to stay and defend himself. Trump got away with too much. He knew the interviewer was being as generous as anyone from a network he has no respect for would ever be. There was no incentive for him to walk away from such an opportunity. That said, both sides didn't do particularly well especially Trump.

To be fair, even though I think Trump is terrible, Biden didn't negotiate an infrastructure plan either, he allowed his friend Joe Manchin, a corrupt legislator from West Virginia, to strip down the Build Back Better agenda to an unrecognizable form and they passed a "bipartisan" plan which was more agreeable to "moderates". i..e. more acceptable by business interests. It's not the Dems or the Republicans who run the country it's their donors, but msm rarely makes this obvious fact known.

He did tax reform for the first time in 40 years and it put more money in the pockets of middle and low income and he negotiated the First Step Act. A partial overhaul of healthcare almost passed Congress (to be signed into law by him) but it lost by ONE VOTE, which was JOHN McCAIN. He probably could've gotten infrastruction done (and I mean REAL infrastructure, not the infrastructure bill that Biden and Dems did that only had 25% of it that was TRUE infrastructure!!!) if he wasn't so busy dealing with the bogus Russia collusion investigation that was the "insurance policy" that Stzrok and Page texted about. All that being said, I'm voting for DeSantis, if he's on the ballet and if Trump is on the ballot, I'm voting for him.
