I am so proud to say that I was born in Montagu on 15th November, 1948 & lived in a home 'met n agterplaas' in Church street, until we left when I was about 5 years old. I went back on holiday in 1983, to rediscover my roots & almost never left. Going through that tunnel is like re entering a safe place & the mountains encircle you like arms, welcoming you back home. My body needs to be buried there, because my heart is already ensconced in it's soul. ❤😊

Looks so beautiful and peaceful. Our grandson is so fortunate to work and live there.

Absolutely! It’s a magical town
My partner and I have stayed at the Montague Hotel and we love every moment of our visit. The town itself, the people, the friendliness and the atmosphere. We cant wait to go back for our next stay.

I recently visited Montagu and the video portray the people beautifully. Great variety of restaurants and excellent food. I played golf for fun . I walked around the town without getting into my car once. It is a town to relax and recharge your batteries. You should make a video of all the geust houses available and what you can do in Montagu. Love love the people. Well done!❤️

My woman is from there. Wheres the "slums" part of montagu? Show everything as is. Not what can be used as a tourist attraction 😒 false advertising at it's best here
