Meet the Origami Artist #2: Sébastien Limet
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
The second episode in our 'Meet the Origami Artist' series!
Sébastien Limet is a very unique origami designer who makes expressive designs. He is well known for his '2 in 1'-designs like 'mantis behind a leaf' and 'climbing peaks'. Recently he brought out a new book, 'Just a simple base'. We highly recommand purchrasing the book, it's phenomenal. We spoke about how long he worked on this, well, now we understand why the book is so fabulous: www.origami-shop.com/juste-si...
Even more recently he plays with actual problems in our society, like the corona pandemic. He is well known for his face mask origami and cartoons of important leaders from origami.
We want to thank Sébastien for his collaboration and we will upload more interviews in the future, we hope you guys like these interviews!
The thumbnail was made by Sébastien himself, as well as the images.
Enjoy!

I spend about 1 hour 30mins in total shaping the face and spikes on godzilla designed by me, the spikes won't stay spikey 😐. Also 1 hour on folding the base.
I like seeing this series.

Did he magnetize his models, or what? 😄 For example, he put the sloth on that lamp like it was nothing, and I was like: "Wait... where's the magic?" 😁
