Meet the Oboe Family! Dr. Ann Lemke introduces 3 double reed instruments.

Музыка

Dr. Ann Lemke plays the same scale on the oboe, oboe d'amore and English horn. They all use the same fingering, and are all double reed instruments, although the reeds are different sizes. The English horn and oboe d'amore have an egg-shaped bell and a bocal.

I played the oboe throughout middle and high school. While in high school I had the opportunity to play the English horn for a few pieces. I loved it.
