Ойын-сауық

Fifteen-year-old Imogen has spent years training as an aerialist and has now been offered the chance of a full-time job in Russell's Circus. But to take it she will have to drop out of school, live alone and cook for herself. It's a big decision but one her parents fully support. Meanwhile, 14-year-old knife-thrower Edward is already earning serious money with his Wild West act.

The kids seem very well spoken, respectful and mature for their ages. They may not have the same education as children who participate in "normal" school settings but they seem well rounded and happy. They spend more time with their family and work harder than most kids their age probably do. I think as long as it's something that they want to do and have a passion for then there is nothing wrong with it. Nice to see the children caring so much about their families history and traditions and wanting to respect that and carry it on. And much respect to the 15 yr old girl who Knows what she wants and isn't afraid to follow her dreams.

I never even thought about this lifestyle or knew it actually existed. I think the tightness of the families is amazing and how they support one another. Theyre all extremely proud of who they are and what they do, as they should be but unfortunately not many kids are these days. Education is so important to me so that was, of course, my only concern for the children.

Judy Holiday in my country there is something called after school it’s kinda like boarding school but you can normally only take 9th grade there sometime 8th or an extra year and take 10th there to but in 9th grade you are 15-16 An you live away from your family at a school some even go across the country for this and only see their parents in vacations it’s pretty common and actually very popular so the child can figure them self out I also know of multiple people who move away from home after so when they are 16 Tbh I was probably more mature and ready to move out at 15 than 20 obviously this differs for everyone

I went abroad for a year when I was 16, but I lived with a very nice host family and the whole point of my year abroad was to improve my english. Even under those circumstances it was hard for my parents to let me go, but they were always supportive! But imo parents shouldn't let their child miss a year of school to travel with a circus...it's just irresponsible and the child doesn't know any better yet.

That is basically all children in the U.S. with a stay at home mom. Never have to help put because their culture says women have to do it all with the domestic things cooking, cleaning and child rearing. Girls are also taught to help out but not boys and husbands. Very ancient view on humanity! In Scandinavia all children have to help out even at daycare age but with tasks that are suitable for their age and it adds on until they move out.
