Meet David Hofmann, a development technician in the Aero Thermal Lab at the Stellantis tech center in Auburn Hills, Mich. Dave started his career as a mechanic at a tire store, then at a car dealership. His love of learning and quest for knowledge turned his mechanical experience into a career of testing, instrumentation, building fixtures and developing solutions with engineering to improve the aerodynamic and thermal performance of the company’s vehicles.

It's nice to see experienced specialists in the automotive industry
This guy is the real deal! You can tell he understands how these systems work from real experience. Many engineers out there wouldn't be able to pick out a condenser from an evaporator.
Thank you Dave. We need more people like you, especially in QA...then folks like Tavares forcing us to buy stuff that is broken. We need more folks that test and quality here in the u.s. not folks overseas with big egos trying for force feed us products that are broken.
David sounds like exactly the man I want involved with the development of the truck I ordered, a great asset. Could he by any chance help out on the assembly line so I could get it this year please?
