I did that when I was a technician because someone brought a kitten that they literally threw out the window on the highway no joke we had to stitch the jaw back up but I fell in love with this cutest black kitten and they wouldn’t let me keep him because the animal shelter already had a home! And I had him for like eight months but those are Texas laws

The one that’s not doing so well needs to stay hydrated. I recently had a cat give birth to 4 kittens, and one didn’t make it because of “fading kitten syndrome”. Fading kitten syndrome is common for kittens and usually happens during the winning process. If the one we lost had stayed hydrated we may not have lost her. Also wet food is higher in nutrients, so if a kitten isn’t doing so well then wet food is definitely something to try.
