This episode is super old like over 5 years lld. You can't buy that many at one time. They do have websites they help. They post deals and tell you what the deal is down to the store, what coupon and the limit you can buy. I used to coupon.

I lived in Oz for a while, I’m originally from the US, the customer service at Woolworth is nothing compared to here in America 😅

Yeah, I feel like this is asking too much of them. I would hate these couponers so much if I were them.
Hoarding isn't okay... Stores don't allow you to coupon this way anymore.

Ugliest boots I’ve ever seen! As long as I’m wearing a shirt and a pair of pants, I’m dressed. Half the time I grocery shop in flip flops or slippers
If she keeps it all, then what about expiration dates? There's no way that this family would go through a lot of items, because they'd expire before she could use them.

I have seen some episodes of extreme couponing, and I must say I am impressed how much effort they put in to cut and save. If this was a thing I Sweden, I would be happy to try it out =)
Husband lost his job and biggest worry was not being able to have drinks with girlfriends? GTFOH. I remember when this show initially aired and all the controversy surrounding her segment.

it's funny also how she think she's looks like she has a lot of money. i work with the filthy rich; the disney family, the sharpie family, the general mills family. she looks clearance at best 😂
Yeah I tried this at Kroger's , they said I'd be banned if I tried again.
Makes no sense to do this if you aren’t actually using it, just storing it. Some of them spend up to 8 hours at supermarkets. They always get cereal too, you would never use enough that it doesn’t go stale
She even has the Karen van 😱

No store anywhere would let you walk out with free food at this level.A lot of these foods would expire anyways before she could use them.

Most stores now have a set limit on how many coupons can be used on each order.
This woman has been called out by the couponing community for using fraudulent coupons and for glittering aka using coupons on things that don’t match. She’s unethical. Shame on TLC.

First that there's a community of these mentally ill people is amazing. Second, this isn't 1980, the cashier don't need to verify if you bought something, the register reads the barcodes, can't trick the computer.

She didn't even say she was worried bout taken care of her kids she was just worried bout herself how she looked an her shopping addiction
It’s always amazing all the time, and effort to they put into getting coupons. I feel like she could have put all that effort towards getting a job and that would have been more beneficial to her family.

You serious?yogurts expire weekly... you can't eat 100 yogurts in a week or twenty days even if you have ten kids... they will have to eat ten yogurts each of them...in a week.. it's sick.

Where did she put all these 100 yogurt cups?in a gigantic fridge? yogurts expire weekly... you can't eat 100 yogurts in a week or twenty days even if you have ten kids... they will have to eat ten yogurts each of them...in a week. It doesn't make sense buying products just because they have discount by coupons.

Yogurt does not expire weekly. I always check my yogurts before buying them and they’re always dated a month or more before expiration

@@elettramia6380 I agree, yogurts don’t necessarily have a week’s shelf life, certain brands have a shelf life of about a month (eg. Müller, and they also use ‘best before’ instead of ‘use by’)
Why don't the cashiers type in the quantity instead of scanning each item separately?

I had a friend who was painfully insecure and would cake her face in makeup in case any men were around and we'd literally just be going to the shops for like 2 minutes. So glad I'm not friends with her anymore 😂

Fun fact: if you don’t disrespect couponers, they’ll actually give you tips on how to save and where to start. That’s what they teach me, sometimes they even give you coupon pages

In England when we used coupons we were only allowed 2 at the most not thousands and wat about dates on items some only ave a very short shelf life

Many of these "extreme couponers" don't usually do it on this big of scale on a regular basis. Also they did this when the 2007/2008 economic recession happened. So this show is 10 years old. Rules have changed with couponing in the US.

I buy one paper a day they don’t send coupons out in the newspaper like they used to. It’s a joke and most store won’t take online coupons

These extreme couponers aren't really saving money though. With the amount of time and effort it takes to do all of this , and considering the percent of "useless" items they get , it pretty much evens out. The time and effort alone put into all of this is the same as working for it.

These couponers dont make sense. They usually spend like 30 hours per week clipping coupons and shopping. If they put 30 hours per week into a side hustle/job, they would make more than they would be saving couponing and have less junk, like who jeeds 30 bottles of laundry detergent?
