Lol the girl hasn't trained or been on dance moms in years. If we're being honest she doesn't qualify as a professional dancer these days or a dancer at all. If it was Maddie I'd understand, but Kenzie has lost almost all her flexibility and technique. She's also not the only child celeb on the show with dance training. There's been a ton of celebs on the show who are trained it's not a big deal.

I have always defined by teachers and students and everyone I know as my brother's sister, and sometimes people who I go to school with don't even bother to learn my name. (My brother doesn't even go to my school anymore, and we never overlapped.) It's hella difficult bc I'm always trying to prove myself and not say I'm terrible at everything compared to him, even though I am, and I can only imagine if my life was defined by my famous/talented parent.

LavenousForever Zendaya was just trained in hip-hop. Mackenzie has a more comprehensive ballet, jazz and contemporary training that helps with posture, rotations & arm and leg extensions

I thought she was going to do troupe that’s how good she is. I don’t mind it though just hope that the kids don’t get intimidated by it. Heather Morris is a better example. #TeamMilesBrownDWTSJr

There are like 2 other kids that are 13. She's only 1 year older than some of the kids in there and she doesn't even dances that much anymore. It's a competition. If people can't catch up with her it's their problem. It shouldn't matter if you're an 18 year old competing against a 10 year old or if u have any previous training

They were actually looking for younger child professionals but there wasn't that many of them so they had to go with 14+ years junior pros also height, the stars were shorter than expected

Dauntless Fire it was pre-taped and the studio audience voted live. One was eliminated each week (2 week one) with 4 finalists. Kenzie was a finalist but did not win.

Although Mackenzie is a dancer already, there’s been stars on DWTS that have been dancers too (Zendaya) and some who are gymnast (Simone, Shawn) Although gymnastics is very different from dance, they still have an advantage with the flexibility and agility some dance steps look best with. Let the girl beeee, makes it more interesting than seeing little non-dancers mess up most steps and look stiff on stage.

She has forgotten many of it and lost some of her flexibility due to her not being trained for years. She's also not focused on professional dancing and was Never trained in ballroom dancing besides maybe Jazz. But she focuses on singing and acting now soo

blogistuff yes but she was a competitive dancer her whole life she’s used to learning a dance in a week and she might not be a dancer anymore but she was and everyone who knows her either knows her as Kenzie from Dance moms or the girl who’s in Sia’s music videos sister (aka Maddie) she’s 14 she lost some flexibility not all and she can probably get some back I’m not saying Kenzie should be disqualified because she was obviously picked for a reason but Ellianna was also on dance moms for a shorter time but she’s considered a pro

That's So Lulu miles is trained too. Mackenzie hasn't trained in years and has never been trained in ballroom which is completely different than any other style you're doing most dances in hold something she has no experience with. Her technique and flexibility has probably suffered as well because she hasn't really danced since leaving the show. This show isn't a "no dance experience" show

They want her to exclude it they technically aren't supposed have any dance experience and it also avoids hhher saying dance moms as abc can't mention lifetime show
