The third video of the series " Meet the Band", featuring multi-faceted Percussionist Sae Hashimoto.
Sae was born in Japan and moved to New York City in 2012, where she is now one of the most sought-after freelance percussionist in a wide field of genres and styles.
As a leading interpreter of John Zorn's music, she can already look back on collaborations with artists like the JACK Quartet, Tyshawn Sorey, Ches Smith, Laurie Anderson, and Jorge Roeder. Her performances have also been recorded on two albums on Tzadik label.
