What a great night that was! Last Wednesday Hanya Yanagihara was in town for a conversation on her long awaited new novel ‘To Paradise’. It was an exhilarating talk with Annelies Beck and some superb questions from the audience. With the longest signing cue ever afterwards. Thanks to all involved, tip of the hat to Flagey for hosting this.

Hanya Yangihara is such a brilliant thinker. It's rare that I like listening to an author I like so much.
Hanya is very good with words i could listen to her all day long. She’s beautiful…and the interviewer is doing a great job with the creativeness of questions, I’ve watched many interviews with Hanya and I usually find the questions to be repeatable.

Definitely not beautiful, and her ideas on depression are really fucking bad.
