Lou Shepphard is a video, audio and installation artist and a former Doris McCarthy Artist-in-Residence program resident.
A graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Sheppard was awarded the Emerging Atlantic Artist Residency Award by the Hnatyshyn Foundation in 2017. Their work has been exhibited in Canada and internationally, and was included in the first Antarctic Biennale and in the Antarctic Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale.
