We are seal-iously thrilled to announce the recent birth of an endangered Australian sea-lion pup who has just made her first splash in her new home at Taronga's Seal Bay!
The pup was born to second-time mum Nala and is progressing extremely well, but she is yet to be named! And we are calling on you to help us pick!😊
Our Keepers have pulled together two name suggestions either Amalie which is a tribute to the pup’s late Grandfather and Nala’s Father Mallie, or Kailani which is of Hawaiian origin and translates to sea and sky. And all you need to go to tell us why you have chosen your name suggestion! The entry with the most creative response will win a family pass to use these Spring School Holidays a Seal Encounter and a Meet and Greet with Taronga’s Marine Mammal Keepers.
