Meet Pete
The neighbour's cat came home with a little bird. He didn't want to eat. I tried to save him.
Finally after recording other baby ‘Great Tits’ I was able to make him open his mouth.
He is an adorable little fellow.
Let's try to get these stories to create awareness about how beautiful every individual animal is to as many people as possible.
Cool if you subscribe

When I was in third grade I found a baby bird in the yard. My uncle said a predator probably got it and dropped it. So I picked it up took it to a nice little bowl with cloth and tried to feed it. It didn't eat I tried and tried but it didn't eat. So I gave it some time and I found out it was a boy and named him Bertie (don't ask why). I looked back at him and saw that he was in pain. Minutes later he died I cried a little and told my uncle. I buried it next to a pine tree and added a grave stone. Till this day I still look at that grave stone and smile for him because I know he's no longer in pain.

Whenever I see him breathing on the birds I think he’s breathing life into them🥰
I just love the effort he puts to save this little birdie. I can imagine that a lot of people won't even try and think like him, making the effort to find a nest to record their noises just for the little chance to maybe get the little one to eat. Kudos!!
This same thing happened to me! About a year ago, two birds (I'm not sure what kind) came into my garage and started making a nest in a flower pot (I put a camera near the nest to record their activity it was amazing). After a few weeks, I found the mother sitting in the nest almost 24/7, and when I first got a closer look, she darted out because she was scared of me, so I used the opportunity by climbing onto a stool and looking inside. What I found was five tiny eggs that were smaller than grapes! I left them there and the mother and father kept going in and out of the nest. A few weeks later, though, the little baby birdies hatched, and they were so cute and innocent! Whenever the mother left the nest to find food, I would look inside and see them all cramped together. I would tease them by making chirping noises to get their attention. At first, the mom would leave poop everywhere and it was annoying, but I got used to it. After a few days, when I was about to go outside, I found that one of the babies had been missing. I searched around the garage, and on the floor (about a whole four feet or more from the nest), I found what looked like a little pink blob. I looked closer and found that it was one of the babies! I didn't know what to do, because it was still alive, so I put it back in the nest. After a few hours, I checked back in, and this time a baby was outside the nest again, but this time it was still inside the flowerpot near the nest (what a relief)! I was really confused, and thought that the mother had rejected the baby, so I brought it inside and put it in my small moisturized incubator. I made sure to feed it a few small worms and bugs every now and then, and the night after, I finally returned it to the nest, hoping that this time it would stay in for good. I was really surprised that it did! The next morning, I decided to look at the video camera footage, and see if there were any clues as to what happened. I found out that a considerably large-sized bird had flown into the garage through a small hole and started taking a peek at the nest when the mother and father weren't there, perhaps with intentions of eating the babies. I saw the big bird pick up one of the babies as it struggled, and then finally let it go after a few seconds. It was terrifying! I kept monitoring the condition of the nest and babies, and all seemed well! A few weeks later, all the baby birds had opened their eyes, grown feathers, and emerged from the nest! They started to fly around and smash into everything, all while the mother was flying to chase them around and chirping and trying to feed them as well. Too bad they didn't obey her she must have been really upset. After a day, I opened the garage door, and all the babies poured outside into the wilderness! P.S. thanks for reading my story!

I had a bird like this 2 days ago, u was in love with him. I fed him every time he wanted to eat. Then when it was night I wanted to stay with him but my mum wouldn’t let me.. I woke up and told mum how is Blacky doing (that’s name of him) and she didn’t tell me nothing... I knew that he is not here anymore, I ran to his house and can’t and saw a dead bird... I was crying. But now I’m ok, because I hope he is having a good time in heaven…
I found the same kind of bird fallen out of his mother's nest 4 days ago and me and my family took it home. At first he ate very frequently but yesterday he began doing the same thing ignoring food in the same way. Sadly he passed away about 2 hours ago and I wish this video was recommended to me sooner. Much love to you and your birdie, I'm sure the one I found is happy now.

That was so smart to get Pete to open his beck to feed him with all the other baby birds chirping to be fed by Mama Bird you recorded on your phone. Brings back beautifully memories of me saving a baby bird that the wind blew him out of the nest from my tall Palm Tree. I had to feed him every hour mashed up red grapes. He Loved sweet things. I noticed the father bird was a gorgeous yellow body and black head and wings that had stripes on it.. I looked the breed up.I had a hooded oriole. The most beautiful music. Gorgeous song birds and loved getting a drink from my Humming Bird Feeder.Insect eating birds.I also fed Mealworms. He was so little. I turned my guest bathroom into a bird room so once he was ready to fly . He flew in there. Because I have indoor cats! I would put him to bed in his cage every night. Every morning I would let him fly in the bathroom while I make his food dishes and Vitamin water. He would fly on top of my shoulder to put him back in the cage so he could eat his breakfast outside every morning and I would hang his birdcage in the tree. His mom and Dad would visit. He turned out just like his dad. Gorgeous Yellow Body with black hood and black wings with stripes! I named him Jet Pilot. Because he was fast and his strips on his wings. One year in Spring when I hung his cage out to socialize with the other birds. A female-would fly to his cage to visit and eat his breakfast of fruit and mealworms. I opened the cage because he was ready to be released and it was so beautiful. He would fly with her in the yard in the tree then would land on my shoulder. I left the cage open so they could get food every morning then when it was time to migrate. He flew off with her. He still comes back to the tree every spring! So happy you saved Pete’s life like I saved Jet ♥️
3:10 bird: *”I am speed.”*
I remember raising a baby woodpecker ....and spent 2 hours searching my brain for a birds chirp that would entice it to open its beak for a feeding ...so I finally nailed a high pitch squeak that related with him...every feeding I needed to squeak. And a few months down the road I was rewarded with his first flight ...he was a show off and did a loopdiloop from the top of a tree right to my chest and as he clung to me I felt that all my hard work for 3 straight months paid off :)

I have raised many baby birds before but this new little guy is much younger than the rest I have been able to keep alive :/. I have little hope he will survive but thanks to one of these sorts of videos YOU have made I have been able to save roughly 3 babies from my age of 10-13. I found my little guy on the path in front of a house with no trees at all for the next 2 houses on either side. I already own two budgies. But he looked so lively I didn't want to just leave the little thing there just to let it slowly suffer and die.

Angels do walk amongst us. God Bless you and Pwte.
I can relate to this, I found a baby humming bird and it was winter. So I picked it up and looked for its nest but I couldn't find it, so I raised it until it could live on its own. I taught it how to fly, and eat from a flower. I named him Little Jr.

If you grab a baby bird, it would smell like your hands so that bird's parents would kill it. Its good you didn't find any nest. Do not touch bird nests people.

Shoulders of Giants >:C HE WAS NEVER UGLY
Thank you for posting these beautiful videos. You have a heart of gold!!
I rescued a baby blue jay from being a snack and was apparently kidnapped from his nest by a nasty crow. He too would not eat the whole first day I got home. All he wanted to do was sleep. And when I let him roam around all he wanted was to crawl back into my hand. The next day, after some searching, I found a bird sanctuary very close to where I live. On our way there he started squacking for food so I would pull over and feed him. He is now on his way to be a proper blue jay. Good luck with your new friend !!
You're an amazing man for saving and caring for these birds 😊 God bless you!!
He is one of the best channels on KZread and there are too many reasons why.
How wonderful! Such a beautiful sight!
Wow that was ingenious. I thought you would hunt for insects but you came back with a rock concert for Pete! The best ever. Wonder if he was born Spanish speaking but grew up French speaking lol! The power of language and love of course! 😍
