07:30 “Many of us have their own character, and our own ideas. So it is harder to get brainwashed!“ We need more of that spirit in the world.
beautiful how they stopped consuming skate content and started having fun with it in their own way, developing their own skate styles and cultures.

I got to skate with Chopper and his crew for the best part of 1998 while I was in Osaka for a working holiday. Chopper is the radest guy I have ever met. It was the best year of my life. I can't believe how famous he has become. It would be so cool to go back and hang out again. One day
Red Bull has a gold mine on their hands with this series.

@@sepg5084 i don't live off the grid self-sustainable, so sure a certain percentage of my resources end up in the hands of large corporations. that doesn't mean that we should accept the commodification of things with such underground roots as skateboarding. apathy is a bitch but at every turn i strive to support local and DIY enterprises with ethical outlooks and practices. but hey, you do you as well
Originality, creativity and pure stoke. In this sport they would say everything is already doned. Big respect to Osaka Daggers
This is not about skateboarding! Is a life deep message, is about creativity in its pure way , about freedom from toxic consuming, they create all and hand make it , at the same time they build a super strong connection by being different , is pure gold , maybe the most inspirational skate video I had see ,in almost 35 years!
He has one of the best jobs and is nailing it too! Skate Tales is a great series into different aspects of Skateboarding and how it plays a role in peoples lives.

Im so happy that the daggers are given this exposure from red bull:) Chopper is my biggest influence when it comes to skateboarding and hes responsible for me getting more interested in the sport. Hopefully more people get inspired and start to see skateboarding with a different perspective.
These videos are so amazing! I love Japan and find their culture very interesting so this was extra awesome to watch. Loved seeing how much these people enjoy skateboarding and how unique they are. What they stand for really spoke to me. Also, ending the video with a Nujabes beat was so perfect.
Epic. Please don't stop making these videos. Truly love the series.
skateboarding for others is just hobby or a toy but for some like the osaka daggers its culture, its family like chopper said: skateboarding is skateboarding❤
who can dislike something like this? stopped watching skate media and made their own style.. sick!!
Look how this guy goes over there and just becomes a part of their crew immediately. So cool and impressive.
Beautiful documentary. What a blessing to be there in the mix to experience that all. I appreciate the humble acknowledgement you made towards such a sentiment before the temple. Super rad video. Wow.
I would love to see these triumphant souls get together with Mullen! This video blew my mind on what's possible with stairs and tricks on skates. Good people. Good town. Thank you for bringing us along to this truly heart warming scene.
Yo man I love everything you do and how you help to bring all these awesome cultures, lifestyles and FUN to the rest of us. I can't begin to imagine how awesome it would be to travel around the world and meet so many great and wonderful people that all share one passion. Skateboarding. Please continue to do what you do and shed light upon these amazing people from all over the world. Cherish every second of it. Everyone is beautiful and everyone is just as important as anyone else.✌🏼
These guys are my kindred spirits across the ocean, I love stalling on curbs
It's like "No Reservations", when you add the food. I love this show
I need some daggers gear, these guys are so damn awesome. They are living their best life for sure
This channel shows EVERYTHING that skateboarding is! Absolutely fantastic!!!
Madars thank you for letting me hear what Kierkegaard sounded like. I always wondered why his high raspy Danish voice was so remarkable, now I know.
Mr handsome did a back smith stall w his hands in his pockets 🔥
This series is amazing! Particularly this episode and the one in Ethiopia, make me just want to fly over there and live with them. I love the fact it's fresh in Ethiopia, and in Japan they just have fun, no preconceptions, same in Brazil. That's how skating should be for everyone! It would be an honour to skate with any of these guys.
Waw! All these skateboarding styles which I had never seen before. Very creative
Great frame of japan, thanks for bringing this up
This is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen. What a fun crew! Skating at its purists form!
This was awesome. More of this.

it's funny to hear them say they were a year behind with skateboarding, and it felt like they were always catching up, because that's exactly how we felt with video games over here in the states
Damn, thought I’d just check this out quickly. Watched the whole thing. Great vibe going on and that freestyle was perfect summary of the whole experience
Best skate series to ever bless us
This is awesome! I love it when the Japanese take something from our culture and throw their own spin on it! True artists experiment!
Ive skated at that spot and hung out with those dude. You really did a great job on this. well done.
It’s nice seeing a culture of skateboarding around the world which isn’t just a constant push for crazier and bigger tricks, but just different ways to have fun with it. That’s the big thing I’ve taken from this series so far, it almost feels like in the west we only care about the technicality and size these days when there’s so much more to it.
Madar is awesome love watching him skate
Super Stuff! Madars, the best vibe and the politeness, perfect host for the show! Best regards from Igaunija!
Really want to visit Osaka after watching this & skate with them!

Wally Inouye made a huge impact in my community and thinking about how our local skaters are so diverse, yet connected. How so many great people are gone, who I once I had a chance to skate with. Especially those I looked up to when I was younger. Ride on forever, Forrest💛😭Ride on, everyone
That is truly magical

"We are surrounded by the repression of the rules of our society, but that same repression feeds our energy and explodes in our expression ." So very well said, my man .
