Looking forward to the next episode. I would like some behind the scenes where you talk about HOW you run this solo, like you did with BECMI. Thank you!

Super good idea this format! I recently tested the solo on D & D5, and I would like to do something in this style (but in French, my original language ;-)) Bravo and thank you for this pleasant encounter

Great intro to this new series. Looking forward to the next episode. Have you considered showing the rolls, character sheets and other info to make it more visual appealing? Thanks for sharing this, great job.

Hi Roman. I have. I'm trying not to get too bogged down by editing as it takes a little bit of time to put these together but as I go along and get to grips with it I'm certain there will be more things included.

I have never played 5e, maybe this will be an opportunity to learn some game mechanics. I enjoy the way you present your stories, well done ! Do you still plan on continuing with the BECMI series?

  • @SoloDungeonCrawler

Hey Lonny. This is all about learning the mechanics for me too. I do indeed intend to continue the BECMI stuff, just wanted to try something different alongside it and I’ve had the 5e starter set with this adventure lying around for a few years so thought I’d dive in and do something creative with it.

I am looking forward to watching this series also. Thank You for your hard work developing this content. I am sure your fan base will continue to grow.

You roll a group stealth for the gobo's and compare individual pc's passive perception. Does the module TELL you to mis'manage an encounter so badly? Is there any determination once someone in the pc's notices your description? WTF, do you run these as terrible cut-scenes? Are the Characters (through their Player) given Any agency... Nope this is an ambush - too bad you didn't have a thought in your head to Use Actions. "Wait, stop!" Everyone sees your dm description, maybe notice the stench if the winds blowing swirling in that defile. Hear the absence of birds or wildlife? 5e really is remedial role-play now, isn't it, or are most Dem's this dim, or players so not engaged with standing in their Character's boots?
