She was not murdered. She died by her own hand.
My friend, Jack Allen, is recognized as a genuine Hollywood historian and his stories are fascinating. I've known Jack, going way back to when I was a freelance writer for the group he worked for, responsible for bringing some of the best mini series to television. If anybody knows the story-behind-the-story it's Jack. Sure hope you enjoy being at my Sunday dinner table, listening to folks share tales of all kinds. God bless!
Jack just told me that he has a few copies of his beautiful coffee table book, Marilyn by Moonlight, left. It's absolutely lovely. He had access to notes and letters Marilyn wrote to friends before she became famous and also lots of candid photos of her before and after her rise to fame. If you'd like to order direct from him, I know he'd be thrilled to sign a copy for you. If you know anyone who loves movies, or MM in particular, this would be a GREAT gift. Or keep it yourself and show it off on your coffee table. Let me know if you'd like his email address and I'll be glad to pass it along. He doesn't know I'm writing you this note, but I do know he'd love for you to have the last of the copies he still has on hand. It's no longer available on Amazon.
so well done. You speak with such clarity and are so informative.

That's so thoughtful of you to take the time to drop us a note. I'll let Jack know! He'll be as grateful as I am. You take care, Gregory. God bless!
