probably not. they did a video on rescuing 5 smaller cats froma house in NY which were wild cats even though they were living with people. the thing about house cats is that they have been bred/domesticated to live with people like dogs have. but the wilder an animal is the more likely it will be to demonstrate or engage in (normal for them) behaviors that can be dangerous to humans......why would you want to deprive an animal of its normal wild home anyway just to satisfy your wants? its selfish and not cool, and its not good for the animal bc they will always be longing for the wild at some instinctual level

Depends on the type of cat but I had a 23 pound cat that was overweight but he was a neutered male and I had a outside male tomcat and he was 17-18 pounds and was solid. He would disappear for a while then randomly show up on the porch to clean himself, drink some water and eat and then he’d disappear again with his hoes.🤣

For the health of the animals you probably shouldn't..the cats there already experienced enough abuse from humans, they don't need us forcing ourselves on them just because it benefits us. Secondarily if you loose a finger, they loose their life, is risking yourself and the cats life really worth the one potential pet? Laws in many states in the US require animals to be put down if they bite and it's much more strict with wild animals (such as these lovely big cats, if they hurt anyone BCR is required by law to put the cat down; it's why they're so cautious of these cats..it's for everyone's safety to not touch the kitties)

Sand cats are solitary animals and do not like to share their territory.

He used to share his enclosure until he decided he did not want to share his territory. We make sure his enclosure has sand.
