I am just loving everything about this premise between the bag building and worker placement mechanics and the high fantasy theme. It just checks all the boxes for me.

Another excellent tutorial. Thanks, Jon! Got a really good feel for the game and have subsequently gone and backed it on Kickstarter.

Great tutorial as always! Seems a lot like or at least heavily influenced by lords of waterdeep. At least there’s actually meeples that represent warriors, clerics, etc rather than just cubes! 😀

The game can be a bit to explain at first but then gets pretty easy once you get it going.

10 seconds in and this game looks cool

Hopefully for final release the meeples will have printing on each side. They should also do something with the corruption to make it a bit more interesting.

Or no printing at all. Have to wait and see. Not a game I would personally Kickstart, but I'll definitely be picking this up and I hope the meeples are screened.

That was the first game that came to my mind when watching Jon's video.

Very excited for this. A bit concerned the corruption meeples might have a feel that is easily identifiable but chalking that up to prototype.

Took me a while to go back and watch this one, I'm a little sad that it doesnt have any info on how solo play is. Thanks for the great content as always jon

It looks like a bottle of wood glue. If a wooden meeple gets damaged, it would need to be glued back together.

I get that, but it looks weird. Especially since none of the other characters have anything meeple specific in their artwork. I am also not a big fan of the overall art. I don’t mind cartoony, but not necessarily 80s Saturday morning cartoon style. Gameplay looks solid though.

Hey Jon! Question for you, about the game. The person in the comments below said that he had to go to the kickstarter site, to check out the game. When I went to kickstarter, I typed in the game and nothing came up at all. You said the game was a prototype, but you did not say it was coming to kickstarter or when. I tried to contact AEG last night and their auto response said that I might have to wait 6-8 weeks for a response. That may be too late. Can you please give me the where and when this event might take place?

There is a link in the description of this video which takes you to a kickstarter page for the game. Right now all you can do is click a button to subscribe to it since the campaign hasn't begun. If you do that then you'll get an email when the campaign launches (I believe on March 2nd).

At 52:00 when the green player takes the action in the Cathedral zone, shouldn't he pick two peasants because of the monster overrun rule?

As long as you fight at least one monster in that quadrant you don't take peasants as an overrun penalty.

I've only played vs myself for this tutorial, so I can't say what it's like playing against others.

It it me or is the sound quality a bit off here? It has a vibrating quality, like speaking in front of a fan.

Meh, this doesn't look like it'll replace Orleans.

Unfortunately any game with the word ‘meeple’ in the title is a game I’m probably not going to play.

I'm guessing this is a preview copy. If yes, thumbs down for not stating so in the title. Your video may be well presented, but misleading people into thinking this could be the final product is bad.

I clearly stated at the start of the video that it was filmed with a prototype version of the game. I don't think there is anything misleading about this.

​@@JonGetsGames It's not in your title. Nobody should need to load your video to know this is a prototype. Click bait for views, pretty much. Cheap. There's better channels that have fixed this misrepresentation of the products they host. You may want to take by example in the future, or just make it known your entire channel is marketing prototypes somewhere in clear view. Well I am one pleb who looks for useful information on existing products. This will probably mean you wont do a thing to be helpful besides towards your channel. Views for the KZread algorithm. It's a pain in the backside to look up info on games I own to find actual rulesets. I do prefer to be taught visually than shuffling through rulebooks that may very well be confusing or just simply not functional. Your channel, like a few others I've made note to avoid are a waste of time and don't deserve the views they get for misleading what it is they are about.

@@JonGetsGames Your content is wonderfully put together, and great for when I want to look at a prototype for a game that hasn't been released yet, but it's completely useless once the game is out on the market. Completely useless because I am not going to sift through which of your videos is of the actual game, and which is just a prototype made way back when. Take it as constructive criticism.

@@wanghiskhan7345 True. I do suck at communication. The info is all there, but I lack the ability to put those into words. Most times comes off rude, mangled, dumb, or downright aggressive. Sorry Jon for sounding incredibly bad. I mean the best for the viewers of your channel, including myself.
