Those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Did you know the first 2-state solution gave about 75% of Judea-Palestina to Palestine and 25% to Israel? But x conflicts later and it's closer to the inverse. Until Palestine recognizes Israel, there is no way Israel will back down. It is an actual existential threat to them. But if you let slaves take control, it will be a blood shed for sure. They want to revenge all those years and more. But history can not be judged by current standards, otherwise previous powers were all bad, and only people been controlled were good just because they did not have the chance to have the power, so who knows what they would do if they did. My point is whoever has the power will decide if they want peace or not, and I believe Israel does want peace. I am not so sure about Hamas and other Islamic extremists. That’s why I think Hamas should unconditionally surrender in order for the area to have peace. If not, then more of their people will suffer. Even without US, Israel is capable of fighting against all Arab countries together. And they have nuclear weapon too. But Israel only wants no attacks from Arab people, they are too small a nation would want to control more and more places if they are not being pushed into like those 5 Mideast wars. I am just trying to solve the problem for future, not looking back to decide who is right or wrong.

It was Hamas who broke the ceasefire on October 7th not Israel. As far as this woman is concerned, at least she was civil and not screaming, cursing or threatening others and that is a step up from most of these people. At home they do. Let's not keep pretending, please, that this entire region wasn't full of pro democracy and progressive parties and leaders during the 50s, 60s and 70s but, since they were also mostly pro socialism, the west backed religious zealots and genocidal maniacs with money, weapons, propaganda and training and that they also used bombs when just those other things didn't solve "the problem". The more we keep pretending destabilization doesn't exist or that we keep trying to minimize it's impacts, the longer it will take for us to truly solve any issue (even the issues inside the western world). The list of activists and leaders confirmed to have been assassinated by the US alone is pornographic. I'm not even talking only about the middle east.
