    I'm pushing 80yo. What has given me life is the Oldies. I won't let go of a innocent time when things were about young love and the Doo Wop music that would make the world a better place to be in.

    I never left the 50's when it comes to music. All I listen too is 50's and early 60's, the best ever. Lets keep it alive. Thank you KZread for allowing this wonderful music to live again.

    I live doo wop. I grew up playing my mother's and father's music. And love the sound later as a teenager my friend and our boyfriends would stand on the corner and seeing like they did in the 50s. Today I found Cousin Brucie back on the radio from New York City and he is renewed my old love of doo-wop

    Went aboard ship in 65 a great group of guys from Brooklyn would practice at sea in Ports all over the World would light this great Music up ...thanks for the Great Post ol vet way down in TX ❤ great Post ! Johnny Russo lead and the Smith Brothers an Honor to serve with! Salute !

    I Am a 71 year old from the Bronx N.Y. I do remember when i was very young the older teens singing doo wops on the street corners and in the hallways of bronx apartment buildings, was a great sound. Today with utube i am amazed i never realized how many doo wop groups were around our country. Was a good time….

    I'm 78...grew up in Pittsburgh right in the heart of this era...Love it. When I graduated high school in '64 the music scene was transitioning to the Beatles style of music. But I never gave up on it. I could listen to this stuff all day...takes me back 60 years in a second Keep it alive!!

    A revised version of the Flamingos is touring the country, now a quartet. Saw them as a trio in Laughlin years ago; leader was 74 and still singing like a champ; their hits collection is really fantastic. Nobody in the audience under 40.

    I am with you Jerry. Last night I was listening to a DVD I recorded of TJ's Doo Wop Gold show on Sirius back in 2007. I made about 50 DVDs plus I recorded many of Cool Bobby B Doo Wop show on Siruis/XM when I had it on Dish which I don't have any more. I love that song "Lost In The 50s" by Ronnie Milsap.

    @@ladydoowoplover we grew up together, never dating or dancing with each other until 2 years ago, both age 76, and enjoying life as best we can, trying to make up for all that lost time. This music helps, and solidifyies our love for each other. Pat

    i'm 77 and from philly- jerry blavat was the best dj and i went to his dances for 64 years - he passed a year ago. he introduced my generation to all these great songs - i and my friends are still dancing to them - what great memories

    Music back then was real music from the heart.The lyrics spoke of love.And it showed that the writers thought women were special.They actually cared.And knew how to treat a woman.The music is different today.

    Started listening to duets in 1955 teenagers clef tones. Saw my first show 1958 Brooklyn Foxworthy power mode long time ago I don’t remember which one. I’ve never stop listening and I never will
