It's just that with that one, it looks like they have a dirty sanchez around their mouth. Totally cover accurate, but I just don't dig that part of it.

damn. this is excellent. Mafex aces the test when you expect them to do poorly and gets a B- when you're expecting high performance. I'm also excited for the battle damaged version.

Hope Mafex releases Superman from the Dark Knight Returns.

I also agree with you about the Mafex Hush Batman. It looks good but this TDKR Batman really looks superb. It's a must collect for Batman fans and action figure fans in general. Thanks for sharing your treasure.

Thank you for the review, I've watched so many but this review is co calm and measured its a breath of fresh air. Your critique of the Hush figure is spot on in my opinion I've been kind of amazed at all the love its been given, The Dark Knight is a step up without a doubt .I've pre-ordered the other two versions because I'm a sucker for the blue and the grey.I REALLY hope we get a Kelley Jones version as his design is woefully unrepresented in figure form apart from a couple of Red Rain Vampire figures but the world needs his regular Gothic all cape long eared masterpiece on its shelf. I'm not really a DC/ batman collector ,but if I was this is the batman I would collect, he looks good, would like to see somebody make a batman beyond figure, with an older Bruce Wayne. Great review.

Good review. Gotta get this Batman. Imo the Hush Batman fig is one of the best depictions of Batman ever. However, this Frank Miller Batman is my favorite. He's a gritty, mean Batman. I want to pose him with the Kill krew Punisher.

This figure is a must have. I've never bought a Mafex fig before, but I'll dig in my pockets for this one. Imo the Hush Batman fig is one of t ge best

Is this a good quality figure? Since I seen a lot of mafex figures breaking specially the hush superman so I'm concerned but this batman looks awesome.

Chalor the Hush one reviewer don’t get is even weirder to me, because the first promo image of the Hush Batman is the one with the cape grabbing hand. Maybe because I’m more detail oriented...🤷‍♂️

I enjoy my mezco Dark knight. The Mafex looks nice but i am looking forward to the Mafex hush .

Wondering if I should pull the trigger on a Mezco Mutant Leader or see if Mafex come with one? Heard the quality of the pleather pants on the Mezco Mutant Leader is horrible.

The mafex has mezco Batman looking like a doll I just feel the mafex shoots better for comic shots. I agree about the hush way to slender buck ,

Definetly recommend it! I was kinda iffy about getting him not cause he looked bad but cause maybe i didnt need him but i said screw it and got him in....and hes so worth it.

Man, I'm still waiting on BBTS to get the Hush one to send out to me. I'm so far behind on these imports, I should just order from these japanese sites instead.

Yeah, order from AmiAmi...that's a good one. I started using them early this year. I get these figures long before US retailers like BBTS get them, plus I save $20 or so. Not to mention, shipping is about 3x faster compared to BBTS. But yeah, got my Hush sometime last month, and my DKR Monday of this week.

@@Chalor. Gotcha. I guess it makes sense they'd arrive faster since you're getting it fro the source, but only if ya preorder it. Some of these I wait for when it "releases" here and think it'll be faster just to order it from a US retailer. I think preordering on sites like the one you mentioned is what I'm gonna have to do from now on; feel stupid for not realizing that sooner.

Well actually you could say 9 out of 11 if you include their movie Batmans as well. The 2 duds being the original and ver.2.0 of their dark knight figures. But then they have been made redundant by ver 3.0. So you could say all 9 different representations are decent.

Great review Boog! I'm curious about the left leg being longer than the other one. I've check every other video of this figure on KZread and apparently everyone except Unparalleled Universe has this same issue, although you are the only one who mentions it. At first I thought it might be a slight elongation of the knee joint itself but after close examination of some of the reviews on Japanese channels that do not present this problem perhaps... could it be possible for the left knee joint to be tucked in a little bit more into the thigh so that the sculpt of all three elements (thigh, knee and calf) fits closer together? Mhmm... I wonder... (wink, wink, wink would you mind pleaaaase?!) xD

I got rid of the Hush version a day after I had it. Love the DKR so much more. its great

Uh, don't you hate it when someone tries to defend a figure by saying it's supposed to look like that. The hush batman is a disappointing release, it just is we know it and so do Mafex. This DKR figure looks phenomenal though 👌

As a definitive DKR figure the Mafex looks the best! However, the better looking figure is the Mezco Supreme Knight. The Supreme Knight makes the Mafex look like a piece of cheap plastic.
