I'm getting the battle damaged version for Christmas but know that I've seen this I'm having trouble deciding. EDIT: I decided on this guy, love the figure and would reccomend.

I'm so glad everyone gets to enjoy their batman figure while I'm still sitting here waiting on bbts to ship mine. :)

My favourite batman head sculpt to end all batman head sculpts is the DC Direct all star batman figure.. plucked that thing right off and it lives on my Mattel Dark knight returns figure with He-Mans battle axe 🤩 so cool !!

3:22 - It's amazing how fast you can switch out a figures head....fastest draw in the West!

Flames review and this Batman figure is 🔥🔥💯 and no bullshit excuses that cape looks incredible wow!!

I feel ya with the sentimental value with the Mezco DKR Batman. When I bought that initial black & grey one, I got it while hanging out with a friend at a comic book store that no longer exists. A very vivid memory of that, and how damn impressed I was with this new line from Mezco. In my opinion, still the best Batman figures by them. I think they're the only ones that don't have huge, disproportionate heads. But yeah, so strange that Mafex didn't include much...especially with what we got from the Hush one. And so far, the upcoming two don't include the pistol, rifle and grappling hook line.

My dear friend great review as always. Please revel on the fact that you have one of the few copies that were properly assembled and do not have "the left knee syndrome". Congrats you lucky bastard! xD

I think the set of open hands that have the middle n ring figure together are when he cut the mutant leader above the eye

Something I apparently was oblivious about until getting it in hand is all those natural creases and texturing in the sculpt of the costume. When it comes to comic accurate figures (like spandex wearing superheroes), naturally we're used to smoothness. And normally that works perfectly, but in this case it just enhances the figure so much. I own a DC Direct one, a few Mattel ones, several One:12 versions...and Mafex (yet again) has made the definitive version of a character. If you want _the best_ DKR Batman, go with Mafex. No need for multiple wires to clip onto the cape and pose like the Mezco ones. *And please don't overpay by getting from BBTS and the like. Go with a Japanese company like AmiAmi or Amazon Japan. You'll save $20 or so; and faster shipping than the US, that's for damn sure.

Does it have the sturdiness of an SHF? I’ve sworn off Mafex after hundreds of dollars wasted on flimsy figures but this one looks cool

On my mafex spiderman I used soap to losen the joints. Maybe it'll work on Batman

Is it fragile? I want to buy one but I seen people posting a lot of mafex figures just breaking apart.

with mcfarlane releasing a lot of batman figs this year plus mezco's batman releases and remembering the rumor about corona virus started with a guy eating a bat, truly 2020 is the year of the bat

I think the figure is great, but with so much stuff coming out and not loving this look, I'm passing on most the TDKR stuff. I might get the 2-pack with the blue color scheme. Depending how things are next year.

It’s great but in my opinion hush bats is still better. This one just lacks accessories, it doesn’t even have a grappling gun.

1:50 - Wrinkled 🤔. A few here and there just like the Hush Batman, but that's the nature of the material/packaging. So ppl aren't knowing what pleats are lol? They couldn't be more meticulously defined lol. That's like looking at a Norman Rockwell Christmas dinner table painting, and saying _"What a messy table"_

The cape is wrinkled on purpose. Just look at the rest of the costume.

Kyle Bewley doesnt even come close to an ideal batman. Lack playability thanks to all the printed armor pieces, Mafex Crusty Bat any day. Fyi, i have that figure and the only thing it got going for is looking good on the shelves.

Yeah definitely need this for the iconic poses like when he's crouch and soaring through the air. I love Mezco but it can't pull off these poses and the wire cape just puts this one over the top. No way to justify paying $400+ for the Mezco with this Mafex as an option.
