Hi Manda, I found this video really helpful for school since it helped me memorize my abbreviations quicker. on Instagram you asked to post an inspirational quote, I recently came across a quote " what does not challenge you, does not change you" . I love this quote because it can motivate anyone to persevere through any difficult situation to achieve their goals.

I start classes on December 9.. This helped tons! I missed all of the "fractions" my first time, rewatched and took my first MA "Good to Notes." Re retested and only missed SE. 😅😍 Thank you, Manda! Soon-2-B MA, BB

Every time I wrote f/u in clinical I always internally laughed to myself because it just sounded so wrong haha I always imagined the physicians getting offended.

The worst is when a new scheduler tries to shorthand check as "ck" after... I always ask them to fix it!

Manda the CMA The first clinical place I went they barely followed any of the "rules" for medical abbreviation. They used paper and were EMR but this next place I go will be!

Do you know where I can get medical abbreviations/ medical terminology books? I graduated from medical assistantibf program 5-7 years ago.. and haven’t done it for a while.. so I don’t remember a whole lot. But I am going back to my school for a refresher course..

As a medical assistant would I need to have all abbreviations remembered ? Also, would you need to know all diseases and diagnosis etc? Thanks so much !
