Depends on the weapon and where you hit them. I have put easily 4-6 rounds of the thompson into the centre mass before some of them drop.

@@MrTakeshi763 sounds real to me. Takes generally 3 clustered shots into an enemies heart. 5 if they have armor (Nazi’s didn’t). Thompson uses .45 ACP fairly strong round. Btw 5 into armor and 3 without is about 5.56 rounds.

Honestly I'm just happy to see medal of honor back. I just hope we see it return to its former glory. Nothing beats the old games and I was so sad to see the games disappear after warfighter

See, I believe that the campaign can run on lower specs, but they multiplayer needs higher specs. I have seen many reviews of people saying it runs smoothly on a 1660 and stuff so maybe. I think they had to put the system requirements so high up, because they thought by introducing a very demanding feature, people would get annoyed because it was one of the reasons that got the game. Idk, excited to try it myself soon.

Same. Was hoping for a meaningful WWII VR experience. To me it seems they just made so many bad design choices with this one. Such a shame. I'll probably give it a try when its patched and on deep sale. Steams refund policy would make it appealing to try but not with that huge price tag and file size.

I was so excited for this game. It was the first time I wanted to play medal of honor in the last 15 years.

so if your using the quest 2 but have the oculus link to hook it up to your computer does the games download to the computer or the headsets ssd

Not every game has to top the last, not saying it shouldn't have more physics interactions, (I love that stuff) but I guess being a AAA game it's reasonable to want it to at least be up there, but still, respawn is no Valve or Stress Level Zero when it comes to VR games

@@ianc5351 After playing both, Boneworks is cumbersome to get through. Feels way less polished then Alyx. But has more variety in its gameplay. Half life was a breeze to play, and I still think about it every day.

MOH Frontline is still an amazing game , I know I might be alone here but atmosphere wise it's better than modern shooters , love playing the redone version on PS3 !!

Would my pc be able to run this game? I have a ryzen 5 2600 running at 4.1 mhz and a evga gtx 1070 sc that I overclocked. I can play half life alyx on high settings with no trouble. I don’t want to spend the money if it runs bad

Hmm. Would have been great to mix the gallery moments, then go into a minor recreation of a small bit of gameplay based around those stories. Like reliving the memory. Something with some gravitas

180GB for a VR Game?

EA did every Medal of Honor fan growing up a huge disservice. From the original PS1, Frontline, Rising Sun, European Assault and Vanguard. A lot of grew up loving those and the memories! EA needs to make a Rising Sun part two. Or remaster Medal of Honor, Medal of Honor Underground, Frontline and Rising Sun for PS4/5 and Xbox One/XS. We don’t want VR. We want a standard console game!

Also, ANYONE know if there is a way to delete all of those "video" files & just run the game with the main game files? Im guessing the INSANE install size is maybe due to the video & the fact the devs were too silly to use a decent (or one created in the last 20 years, lol) video format. It makes NO sense when every VR owner knows "Half-Life Alyx" is a lot bigger than this MOH VR game & a LOT more detailed (especially character models) & is literally 1/3 the size! MOH is around 180GB & Half-Life Alyx is around 65GB, so if anyone knows if u can remove the video files & still get the game to run, please let us know! Or if anyone knows if the video is the reason the install is so large?? Tku!

Sure the game needs smooth turning and im getting some frame drops on my rtx 2080 but its totally playable. Just needs a few patches. Im having a blast playing so far!

I'm not really sure why there is so much hate on this game it's one of maybe 2-3 VR shooters with a campaign, and I've had no issues with the fun factory. Sure the gun controls are arcady and no co-op mode but it's still worth a play through.

i had no idea this was even in development. now i just want faithful remakes of 1 and 2 with modern controls and graphics.

Damn shame,i was really looking forward for this the moment i heard respawn working on this. that 200gigs file size alone is a mood killer,Alyx got around 70gigs and that's one hell of a VR marvel.

This is by Respawn? Titanfall 2 single player was brilliant, and currently player SW: Jedi Fallen Order and thoroughly enjoying it, they're a great studio.

Methinks this was rushed for christmas. At the very least I hope the devs do the right thing and get some patches out.

medal of honor underground was my first medal of honor game

Just picked this up for $20 on steam sale... Let's see how it fairs on my 4080 rig

My all time favorite military game.

This game should never have been a VR title. Respawn Entertainment have proven that they can make kickass FPS games, they should have done that without the need to tie everything down to the VR gimmick. Especially when it's a series like Medal of goddamn Honor.

What if one day we truly got an immersive ww2 VR experience

U may need to review this game again it has since received a whooping 4 large updates and and ones to follow. It's now officially my faviouire VR game yet. Even over HL-Alyx. Respawn have fixed a lit of issues.

Cyberpunk and this game system requirements are insane I hope they can start working on last gen consoles what really makes me not want this game thought is the storage.

What a shame... I was really looking forward to this game. Medal of Honor back to its roots - and a VR title? Hell yeah! I hope the lesson learned from this is not „there is no market for VR games“, but „the VR market is more matured and strives towards high quality aaa games“

Habe das Spiel nun ein paar Stunden gespielt. Mir macht es als VR-Anfänger sehr viel Spaß. Ich habe auch HL:A gespielt. Wer einen actionreichen Shooter im WW2 spielen will, kommt hier auf jedenfall auf seine Kosten. Liegt bei mir vielleicht auch daran das die die Ersten Teile schon gespielt habe. Ich spiele das Spiel mit einer Oculus Rift S auf einem AMD FX-8350 und einer AMD Radeon R9 390 8GB und 16GB RAM ohne Probleme. Habe es im Oculus Shop gekauft und kann hier leider keine eigene Rezension schreiben.

Ok.. so Half Life Alyx is the gold standard. But this is an amazing adventure. Love the WW2 setting... and handling all the weapons. The campaign is long and very interesting. A must buy if you like WW2 experience. For strong action, there are other games, but for WW2 this is the best in VR

There is nothing wrong with doing a physical preorder at a retail store! The employees at my local gamestop are very nice and always give me a refund if I decide to cancel my preorder. I always buy physical too so I can get a refund on unopened games or at least trade it in if open the game up and don't like it which almost never happens now.

@@TurboNutterBastard. Another reason I buy physical is because of the free little toys, stickers that come with the game discs. My main reason though is that I like to have an actual disc in my hands. The only times I buy digital are if its a game I really want and its digital only.

I mean, it's far better compared to many VR games but it's really not much compared to something like half life alyx.

For me and VR, Contractors is best for multiplayer, Boneworks is best for physics and gunplay, and Pistol Whip is an excellent workout and quite a fun trip!!...And Bonus Round HL:Alyx for story!!!....

It is disappointing. This game has been in development for 4 years, and VR has really changed drastically during that time. If this game came out in 2018, it would've been the HL alyx of games at the time. The problem is, they took too long developing it. So yeah, I completely agree with your comment. It is behind its time.
