Med Vlog: Last Days with Daddy, Turning 30, Starting 3rd Year of Medical Residency | Ian Sta. Maria
Hi guys.
It's been awhile.
Took a lot of courage on my end to put this video altogether but February 2024 will truly be very special to me. For the last years I have always spent my weekends back home to be closer to my mom and dad, and this was the last time I got to spend an amazing weekend with my Daddy, I'm glad I was able to document some of our time together during that weekend.
2024 has brought so many changes into my life, i entered a new decade, experienced a major loss, and currently on my 3rd year in residency.
Days have been very hard, it's best to smile and pretend everything is alright, but in these moments I try my best to also stay positive.
I look back at these videos with a smile, trying to remember my dad's laugh, voice and hugs. He was my superman and always will be.
I'm so happy I got to go home and be with him last February 2024. It will always be in my heart, and this whole memory will always be in my heart.

Hi doc! Been a subscriber since you were in med school. Thank you for sharing your humorous dad with us through your vlogs. I enjoyed those videos so much because he reminds me of my dad which I don’t get to bond often. Got very shocked and sad when I saw your IG post about him but I hope you and ur mom are doing well! ms Ian.. :( Nakakatuwa na your dad is very happy sa mga vids niya, kita naman he is overwhelmed w/ love mula sa family niyo. Sa age natin ngayon, ito na yung age na we lose people dear to us because of age and medical issues. Kita naman sa mata niya he's super proud of you.
