Actually one of the best teachers I've seen on youtube. This video deserves a lot of views.
Seems like a good video to watch the day before the test! Thank you
I've watched alot of lectures, but this is one of the best ever. Thanks Mr. Carpenter!
This is amazing, thank you!!!
Amazing love this ! Thank you so much!
Great video!!!
Phenomenal video, thank you for creating this!
Excellent video
This is a very good video. Thank you so much.
Thank you!
Sir thank you very much, be well

Nice quick review!
@9:46 I think you meant to say the Eclipsed conformation is the least stable due to steric hindrance.

yeah... i had to rewind like 3x to confirm what he said, bc it didnt make sense. Thanks for the clarification

There is always a misspoken word or two when these things are made. Sorry, but if you are following it should work itself out

Always trust your knowledge and logic when you hear stuff, it’s common for people to mispeak like this. I hope I didn’t do it too much on this

The higher the potential energy in eclipse conformation indicates the least likely state the molecule will reside in, too much steric inhibition.
I think on the reducing sugars slide at 47:00 the anomeric carbon is labeled as hemiacetal but the figure drawn is not a hemiacetal.
*7:44** wrong order tertiary and benzyl carbocation*

Thanks, always a couple of errors in these things
God this shit is so confusing. I don't understand how people can simply understand these concepts. I've been spending months trying to figure this out and it just doesn't click.

Read a chapter then watch a video on the chapter’s material, that should help! Also make sure you have the fundamentals down such as acids and bases, oxidation-reduction, and formal charge. Once you start seeing ochem as “what’s making these electrons move?” it makes more sense

O chem is about pattern recognition, watching how electrons flow from various reactants using your knowledge of their basic chemical structure

💀💀💀 we floating in the same boat.
eclipsed is not the most stable of the isomer conformations

Yeah for sure, sometimes a tongue twister comes out on these things
