Who we are:
Shemmassian Academic Consulting (SAC) was founded by Dr. Shirag Shemmassian, a medical school admissions expert with over 15 years of experience helping thousands of students get into top programs such as Harvard, Mayo, and UCSF. Despite a roughly 40% medical school matriculation rate nationally, the SAC team’s approach has resulted in over 90% of their students getting accepted the first time they apply. SAC has been featured on The Washington Post, US News and World Report, and NBC.

for number 2, since the question is asking which derivative is a diol, C was a dead giveaway because it included the name "dihydroxy" :)

I can't get over how mind-blowing this is.... I feel like I've only EVER been approaching C/P passages incorrectly.. Fantastic video, you make it look so easy!

Thanks man, I really like your strategy and am planning on trying it on my next practice MCAT. 1 question: what do you call that notation used in question 4 regarding the wild type amino acid/position/mutation of an active site on an enzyme? I took a full year of biochem back in Uni and don’t ever recall learning this. Maybe I wasn’t paying attention, lol.

Happy to hear, Mitch! That's just standard amino acid mutation nomenclature :)
