Friends this one is nice. Put this in your TV room or anywhere in your with or without a display and just Hey Google! I love it I really do. I never had an interest in smartphone devices, but I think I am finally ready to convert my home into a smart home after getting a taste of this. I tried an Amazon echo with Alexa before, but there is nothing more integrated into your everyday life like Google.

Nice going Nick......MeCool is way ahead of all the others ...at $160+ its compatible to the Shield...Please put a link to the chart in all your videos......Doing a deep look at the Chart....The Ugoos & MeCool looks like they have very good value featured boxes....Forget Netflix on any of these boxes working......I just wish that a USA retailer is available to buy them at...

I believe so. They are only manufacturing Mini PCs these days

Yes I can. Once you connect the TV to its Google assistant feature or you can do it via HDMI CEC options. Also with the TV screen off you can still access all of its smart features including accessing KZread.

With the TV off, use the Google assistance to listen to music like Hey Google play me whatever song. And the box will pull up your song on KZread and it via its built-in speakers. Which is great because you are not limited to the Amazon library like on Alexa.

You might consider muting when you say "hey Google" like other reviewer's do. Very annoying when you have a Google device nearby.

I could not mute during the video because it's a demonstration. I had to demonstrated the Fairfield feature

1. By saying "Ok Google" on KZread you turn on devices in viewers' homes. 2. After pressing a button on the remote control, you don't need to say it anymore. Do you know a bit about the devices you test?

Smart speak or smart home technology is you don’t need to press the remote it’s 24 hours listening for you. Almost all smart tv have pressing button for google assist or Siri assist.

Mecool is bored over there in China lol I can't see anyone really using that

I don't know. Sometimes they release models that has Netflix ESN and that most of the times they don't. But I truly believe that this model should of

bit a misstep here, should have been an alexa device, there is far more you can with alexa skills with media music and movies than you can on the google smart platform

You know if you live in in a foreign country outside of the US Alexa is great with smart phone devices and security systems but it's not that great at finding music from foreign countries in their library. With Google assistant it it finds your music on KZread especially from foreign countries. That's just my experience.

One USB port? No thanks. And no I will not buy a USB expansion cable.
