Exactly what I was thinking. For proprietary design and branding, any fan would scare up the moolah to immerse themselves in the experience - but that restrictive piece of dogshit room with basic trim that probably only LOOKS like SW design and is probably basic rounded-edges design painted in SW colors looks like it's worth LESS than any given Holiday Inn.

How many girls have been bullied and ridiculed for their natural beautiful hair? How many women had to change their hairstyle because their bosses made feel like it looked unkempt and unprofessional? How many girls have been at school that they either change their hair (to look like the others "normal" or they can't attend classes? And then we ask ourselves why they don't embrace their real hair? @@stepho4201 That totally makes sense. After the lockdown, I was so surprised seeing Stephen sitting by himself in a small little room making jokes by himself. I was so amazed that he could manage the jokes without a live audience and maintaining his comedic timing. This was crazy good. Then 'The Late Show' team started adding to the home show and a little later "Evie" got dragged into this which really upped the value of the show. Listening to her laugh at her husbands monologues were one of the bright sparks during the various lockdowns we all went through. Anyway buddy, I hope you keep enjoying the wit, wisdom, musical talent and comedy. Be safe. Be well.

John Baptiste really does an excellent job. Ed McMahon is really the prototype for a sidekick for a talk show host, and while Doc Severenson sometimes filled in for Ed, Paul Schaffer really invented the job of combined sidekick and band leader. And Paul was a tough act to follow. John had really advanced beyond just doing what Paul did and made his role unique. He stands on the shoulders of giants, and instead of doing "what they did, but slightly worse" he does "What they did, but different" and doing it so well that it is impossible to say who is better.

That Disney hotel isn't worth that price. I know some pretty creative individuals who can model a room to look like that for a similar price, and they get to keep it.

I must say, I personally hate 'Für Elise', since it is Beethoven's most performed piece and probably his least important and least beautiful. I cannot understand why people love it so much. Don't get me wrong, I'm the biggest Ludwig fanboy there is, I'm getting up with the 'Eroica' every other day, but the only version of 'Für Elise' I will accept in the future is the one by Jon Batiste and Stay Human. Thumbs up.

Evidence is of course that it's so pupular, there is a certain beauty to simplicity and predictability, predictability being probably why it's so pupular, unlike on the other side of the spectrum' for example Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor, which I have to sit down and really listen to enjoy versus being able to conjure it up in my head. I have 2 favorite pieces, can't pick one over the other, Bach Cello Suite No. 1 and Vivaldi's Four Seasons The Winter. Just my thoughts.

Not so much a hotel as actually living a private interactive Star Wars adventure, exclusive access to the Star Wars land, and getting fed for two days... but Stephen's gotta have jokes :shrug:

yeah, if Stephen could stay in a Hobbit dwelling and spend two days walking the ring to Mordor, hanging out with Elves, eating with the Dwarves, and choosing to work for or against Sauron as an agent of good or evil, he would pay triple that price LOL
