I have autism I go to a special need school
As a young woman with autism, I know exactly what Heavenly is going through and dealt with bullying throughout my years in elementary and middle school, I didn't have any supportive friends at the time and everybody treated me differently, not wanting to be my friend at all. The bullying stopped when I entered high school where I finally made a real friend, who I'm still friends with to this day, and we both found out we both are on the autism spectrum and shared a lot more things in common than I expected. I was so happy to finally find a real friend and I finally accepted the fact that I was autistic after all these years, I never let negativity affect me anymore and to be positive with a big smile to show I am proud of my diagnosis.

It’s true! I have some friends on the spectrum who can do complex math problems mentally in a matter of seconds. Really impressive!
As a person with autism like myself, sometimes people think I'm not great at anything, but I always do amazing stuff in life.
As someone with autism this made me quite sad, no one has ever been keen to me because of it, but I still feel for her
I have autism. And I had a para educator that use to take my work and do it for me. She had good intentions but ticks me off with how she does it because it makes me feel shoved to the side

While it's nice to see a rare depiction of a Black autistic girl (having been one myself), I really wish the message of these was "autistic people and other disabled people are human beings worthy of respect" instead of "be nice to disabled people because maybe they can benefit you in some way." Because guess what? Some autistic people aren't good with math! I'm proof of that! We're still people just like everyone else, even if we can't all be the Rain Man for our neurotypical friends. I need caffeine.

Ok but extreme amazement that Tessa has a superpower. The ability to tell who is on the spectrum simply by looking at them. Remember guys. When youve met one person with autism... youve met one person with autism. Just like everyone else they are all different with different talents and weaknesses so never ever assume that you know what a person cam do based by where they are on the spectrum.
I know I don’t have autism, but I have respect for those who have Autism. I got bullied in school because I have a learning disability, but what I learned is just because you have a learning disability it does not mean that you are not smart, you are still smart and you can be anything you want in life as long as you put your mind to it.

Hi Anaya, I also had learning disablelities and skeletal dyphlasia.. Which in school it really hard for me especially in math class, the teacher always pick me just to humiliate me infront of others which is hurt so much.. But am glad for having supportive friends.. They all didn't bully me and they would be worried sick if I was walking behind them like if there any bad happen to me😅although i had learning disablelities but i manage goes to Science class which even harder for me to study and focus😫

I was diagnosed with Autism shortly before 3rd birthday. I found this video relatable to me. When I was in 5th and 6th grade (middle school is grades 5-8), I was always picked on by 7th and 8th Graders and in 9th and 10th Grade, I was picked on by Juniors and Seniors in high school.
There's a boy in my math class with autism. He gets bullied, but not to his face. Behind his back. He's really smart and we were paired up together for a math sheet we had to do. He helped me with stuff i couldn't figure out. I'm blind in one eye and that eye is lazy so i'm made fun of for it, but he called it cool and he's never seen something like that before. It really made my day. I am a person who WILL NOT stand up for bullying. Just because somebody acts differently, doesn't make them any less of a human with a heart and feelings. No matter what race, religion, disability, or interests somebody has, shouldn't give you the right to treat them any less than what you treat others. THEY HAVE FEELINGS! Stand up for those who're bullied, and don't be the bully. As my principal always says, "Be a buddy, not a bully."
'A disability is not an inability.' But sometimes it is though. I'm not saying people with autism can't be good at math, but a lot of autistic people struggle with subjects. being good at math is a HUGE stereotype for autistic people. I just think it would be good if you made a video talking about actual problems some autistic people face. This one stereotype isnt the whole community, and I can't expect you to put every single type of autism in here, but ALL of your videos talking about autism are the smart kid who no one believes in but then they give them a chance and there really smart and help their bully. Please, if you could make a video about other things autistic people struggle with, it would be nice. Thanks. :)

Also, as a math nerd, I can confirm that NOBODY gets exited over math competitions.
A lot of people with autism are very underestimated, because people focus on the fact that it’s a disability, and the severe part of it.

Not only noisy places but you worded this better than I ever could've, and before anyone possibly jumps to any conclusions I was diagnosed autistic a few years ago
I have a friend who worked as a gymn teacher before becoming vice principal of the public school where her team work with autistic children. Once she told me about her student who has autism and is very smart
as someone who has autism, I can tell you that this is not how people act towards autistic people and this is not a good example of someone with autism. Just because someone has autism, doesn't mean they are naturally skilled at everything. That and the fact that people without autism are way smarter than shown in the video make for quite unrealistic scenario's.

It's rather concerning how you depict autism as a superpower, utilizing it as a plot point to alter her mindset, instead of acknowledging autistic individuals as human beings deserving of equal treatment. I hope this doesn't reflect your perspective on people with autism, but considering the recurring theme in most of your videos, it appears to be.
