Unpopular opinion. As an autistic woman I actually don’t like this video because if you really think of the message, it is not respect people with autism because they’re humans. The actual message of this video is respect people with autism because they might be good at things neurotypicals are good at. And that speaks volumes….

As a young woman with autism, I know exactly what Heavenly is going through and dealt with bullying throughout my years in elementary and middle school, I didn't have any supportive friends at the time and everybody treated me differently, not wanting to be my friend at all. The bullying stopped when I entered high school where I finally made a real friend, who I'm still friends with to this day, and we both found out we both are on the autism spectrum and shared a lot more things in common than I expected. I was so happy to finally find a real friend and I finally accepted the fact that I was autistic after all these years, I never let negativity affect me anymore and to be positive with a big smile to show I am proud of my diagnosis.

After I was diagnosed with autism and ADHD in elementary school, teachers stopped putting me in the advanced reading groups, tried to have someone read my assignments out loud to me, and forced me to do extra work to “improve my reading skills” even though I could read at a high school level in 5th grade and every assessment I took said I was highly advanced in reading. Amazing how even teachers would rather believe their preconceived notions about autistics instead of what they actually see.

There's a boy in my math class with autism. He gets bullied, but not to his face. Behind his back. He's really smart and we were paired up together for a math sheet we had to do. He helped me with stuff i couldn't figure out. I'm blind in one eye and that eye is lazy so i'm made fun of for it, but he called it cool and he's never seen something like that before. It really made my day. I am a person who WILL NOT stand up for bullying. Just because somebody acts differently, doesn't make them any less of a human with a heart and feelings. No matter what race, religion, disability, or interests somebody has, shouldn't give you the right to treat them any less than what you treat others. THEY HAVE FEELINGS! Stand up for those who're bullied, and don't be the bully. As my principal always says, "Be a buddy, not a bully."

'A disability is not an inability.' But sometimes it is though. I'm not saying people with autism can't be good at math, but a lot of autistic people struggle with subjects. being good at math is a HUGE stereotype for autistic people. I just think it would be good if you made a video talking about actual problems some autistic people face. This one stereotype isnt the whole community, and I can't expect you to put every single type of autism in here, but ALL of your videos talking about autism are the smart kid who no one believes in but then they give them a chance and there really smart and help their bully. Please, if you could make a video about other things autistic people struggle with, it would be nice. Thanks. :)

I might have autism and ADHD but that doesn't mean I have to back down when it comes to facing obstacles, honestly, I do well in school no matter what. Besides, a wise person once told me that I have other strengths.

As an Autistic person, I would hang out with Heavenly and with my friends. My friends are also autistic too. I feel so bad for Heavenly, she does not deserved that
