Right the first time I’ve seen them I was running with a net and have never seen them before and they just started chasing me I screamed so loud 😂 😂

Same when I was playing I changed the time on 10pm to get a wishing star and THEN OUT OF NOWHERE A SCORPION CAME YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I SCREAMED?!

Yeah I was looking for a some tree bugs and scorpion just came out of nowhere

small tip for people that actually still play the game: *tarantulas and scorpions are docile by default* they will not put their guard up and become aggressive unless the player is holding a net. tarantulas are always passive and will actually run away from the player if they see one without a net, however scorpions have a chance to attack if the player runs directly at them, even if they arent holding a net. additionally, scorpions don't jump before running towards a player, whereas tarantulas do, making the scorpion more unpredictable. however, tarantulas can jump over low obstacles and even the first island height layer!! (a wall that you would need a ladder to climb up) i very much hope that these knowledge fragments have found their way to somebody in need of scorantula help. sincerely, Squilliam Q. Fancyson.

Catching scorpions and tarantulas is really easy once you get the hang of it. When you see one you have to approach _reeeeeally_ slowly. When they raise their front legs stop immediately, and then start approaching again when they lower their front legs. It’s like green light, red light, stop when they hiss and threaten you and then slowly move towards it when it relaxes. If you get too close then it _will_ charge you, but you can net a lot of them in a single night if you’re careful.

Dang, I'm always bad at catching those things, even spiders, I feel you >-> I always scream my lungs out with the spiders XD

Torantulas were pretty easy for me but scorpions. DANG I ✌🏼died✌🏼 so many freaking times trying to catch just ONE SINGLE ONE. And if I somehow get one. I’ll defenetly don’t sell him. I’ll donate him to the museum and be proud off my catch and laughing at it.

I encountered a tarantula yesterday. I tried to catch it, but I got unlucky... 😩

I haven’t found any scorpions so don’t worry

I got stung by 2 scorpions in one night, I literally got jumpscared by them cause I have so much flower I didn't notice it

i am way worse than you at catching scorpions

The first time I saw a scorpion I just started the game and I ran up to it and i didn’t know it could sting you so I was confused when it stung me

the fact that another spawns as soon as you get stung is quite sad

I'm bad at catching scorpions (and tarantulas). Sometimes I swing my net at the wrong time, or I get too close to them. And sometimes they spawn out of nowhere. I successfully caught a tarantula once, but no luck with the scorpion...

I hate it when I miss them then I get stung

I can catch the tarantulas but those damn scorpions..heart attack every TIME

Does anybody feel these are more common than tarantulas or do I just have bad luck? I spent 3 hours looking for 1 tarantula and back in summer I found like 3 scorpions in 1 day

I can't catch scorpions and/or tarantulas to save my life in ACNH. When one attacks me, it causes me to scream, which I try not to do since I live in an apartment (my second one in Medina, NY after being evicted from the one in Albion, NY). One time I was on the phone with my mother during a night session of ACNH, somehow a scorpion was scattering about, and my net was out, meant to catch other bugs. When the scorpion came in for the coup de grâce on me, I began making this noise what sounded like a female opera singer singing a high note instead of screaming since it was past 9:00 PM and didn't want to disturb others. My mom thought I was singing until I told her I got attacked by a scorpion. Needless to say, scorpions and tarantulas in ACNH are a constant source of my nightmares.
