Scorpions and tarantulas are the constant source of my nightmares when I've played Animal Crossing: New Horizons at night. One time I was playing ACNH and I was on the phone with my mom. I was lurking about on my island trying to catch some bugs, and I was trying to shake some trees to see if any wasp nests would pop out (I'm always keeping a net on me when going to shake trees in the event a wasp nest gets shaken out), and halfway during the call, there was a scorpion, which triggered me to make this noise that sounded like I was an opera singer hitting a high note (I was trying to keep the noise low volume as possible since I live in a ranch-style apartment, and I'm not willing to get evicted like I did two years ago). My mom heard the noise and asked if I was singing. My response was, "No! A damn scorpion got me!" To add insult to injury, I still have frequent nightmares about the scorpions and tarantulas from ACNH.

After experiencing *actual bee stings* and stepping on a bumblebee's nest, seeing a wasp's nest drop down has me gasping, "OH 💩‼" in knee-jerk fashion.

I still need at least 1 scorpion and tarantula for my museum, I’ve seen them before but have gotten stung, then they despawn which is the worst feeling because they are pretty rare in the first place

Well it's a GAME, and kids also play this game so it would be disturbing to just place our character dying due the scorpion. The most they can do is make us faint due the sting.

Walk slowly when you want to catch it. And when you see it go on attack posession stand still until it's relaxed and then walk slowly again
