Great movie. I think it's the only Danny Kaye movie I hadn't seen before. Really enjoyed it.

I loved this movie. Danny Kaye is a wonderful actor in this, so different from his musicals which I love too. The others played their parts well also.I try to get way from the present world and then they put in a Rothschild, ugh.

And in these End Times, God is calling all of the Jews Home. Each week planes are landing in Israel, packed with Jews from all over the world, making their Aliyah. The Bible is extremely clear about what is very very shortly going to commence. The majority of the precious Jews are oblivious to what will happen, yet we Believers are on our knees daily, praying that their Spiritual Eyes will be opened, before it is too late. 7-27-2023.❤️

@@carolcole570 Remember their (Jews) eyes will be opened 3 1/2 years into the tribulation period. They will repent of their ways and come to Him. All who believe Him shall be saved. He said "If you Love Me, you will obey me." therefore If you do not obey Him, you do not Love Him. Lord bless and be with you in these days "The beginning of Sorrows".

Jacobowsky and the Major is more the title, Curd Juergens very popular actor in Germany in the 50s and 60s. And Danny Kaye needs no introduction

Not necessarily. That'd be case-dependent. "For whom was the bomb intended?" "[The bomb was intended for] the Colonel and me." "Who defused the bomb?" "The Colonel and I" [defused the bomb]."

The more things change, the more they remain the same. Eastern Europe has returned to the 1920s attitude toward minorities/outsiders.
