ME AND BENTLEYS FIRST SHOW EVER!!

This was a decision that was hard to make since I wouldn’t have a trainer going with me.. now I know what you thinking and yes it could have been a bad idea if I didn’t know my horse but if I’m honest it was the best decision I had made in my horse riding journey.. Bentley had a nice week off after this and we just now got back into work the day this is posted.. we still have lots of work to do both me and Bentley! But I’m very proud of how he did especially on the poles since we had never done that and he knew exactly what I wanted from him.. I am pleased to say that this is our first show and definitely will not be out last! Thank you to Wild Bill arena and Turnandburn Farm for and amazing show!

I don't know crazy much about horses even though I love them but do you know why they sometimes move sideways? Here is what I mean 0:45

So some horses are trained like that it’s mostly used in dressage but in this case (you can’t really tell because the video is from my point of view and not a full body video) but when you see the full body of me and Bentley I’m actually just holding his head to the side cause he likes to cave into the middle of the area when we canter and I was basically just keeping him from keeping a bad habit if you would like I would happily post an example of it on my community part of my channel and tag you 🫶
