So basically, with skip cycle you're running a 3 cylinder engine with 4 pistons?

Yeas and no. It could run 2, 2.3, 2.5, 3, 3.3, 3.6, 4 and some another options. If I understand it right, if I don't, then I make my own better engine ;) It's skipping cycles when those dosen't needed and programming computer to control it best way is everything. This system could save even some CO2 generated.

What is the purpose ? Can't just make agressive miller cycle ? Make VVT on intake camshaft, Like if you need full power run engine in Otto cycle. When on low load make as agressive miller cycle as possible: like CR/ER =0.2 You will lower egg for sure but extract as much energy from fuel as possible? Why do you need run Otto cycle and deactivate cylinders? 🧐 CR - compression ratio ER - expansion ratio

Why not run bbt like everyone else, it’s easier to diagnose & fix it Yourself.
