MDS (A Terex Brand) has successfully completed commissioning of an M820 Static Heavy Duty Trommel in Indonesia.
This is the first unit to have Dual Drum Cleaners installed. The customer has large deposits of Nickel Ore embedded inside extremely sticky clay. The M820 has successfully processed this material and extracted Nickel ore from wet sticky material in overburden sites.
The unit is fitted with a fully welded drum with 85mm (3 11/32 in) openings throughout its 8m (26' 3") length and 2m (6' 7") Diameter drum. The unit is fully electric with a Hopper Capacity of up to 40tons and a feed rate of up to 750 tons per hour.
The unit is also equipped with a special bespoke drum tailored to this application, along with dual drum cleaners that are able to cope with the nastiest clay.
